The hotel is a 20-minute walk from the sea-front restaurants and old town with its picturesque streets and harbour.

The sea seems right outside the coast-facing rooms and the view from the table and chairs on the balcony is wonderful: morning sunshine and a long view of the bay. Note there is a road with traffic between the sea and the hotel, busy at peak times but also a bus route which is helpful. Breakfast was excellent and included in our room rate: buffet with lots of options and all very fresh and good. There is a private beach and bar belonging to the hotel but not in sight of it - 5 mins walk along the coast away from Menton.

Not much to be honest, maybe they could provide some list of food recommendations in the area as we took a while finding a place to have lunch.

The staff were absolutely great, provided all of the information we could have needed. The view from the room was absolutely amazing, highly recommend opting for the seaview as it is absolutely worth it. The hotel itself was a couple of minutes walk from the center which was nice for us as we enjoyed taking a walk up the coast on our way to dinner and due to this it wasn't too busy or loud.

Can’t think of a thing.

Greeting at reception was superb. The room was very large, the balcony had a marvellous view. Snacks provided in the fridge included as was tea and cake in the lounge in the afternoon. Breakfast not included so we opted for their express option of orange juice, croissant, coffee and a piece of fruit for €7. Easy walk to town and all amenities.

Friendly staff and great room with stunning view. While we didn’t have the breakfast we were glad to see that there were two options for bigger or smaller breakfast and were quite tempted by it. Our luggage was brought to our room whilst we were out in town and that was a nice surprise when coming back. Access by train was easy and there is a bus station very close to the hotel that brought us to Monaco.

The room was rather small for a king size. Breakfast on the terrace was spoiled by heavy smokers. There should be a no smoking outdoor area.

The hotel was well placed for a sea view. Quite a walk to the old town but we enjoy walking. Breakfast excellent. Exceptionally clean room with balcony. Complimentary water and soft drinks a surprise. Also coffee and cake in the lounge.

Sometimes 15 minutes walk away from Menton felt a bit long. However it’s still along the beautiful seaside, so not a big negative.

Location of electrical outlets were low under nightstand and hard to access. No AC during winter months, but opening the door and listening to the waves was a good alternative
