Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The shower, but I did like the bathtub.

Our bathroom mirror wasn‘t attached properly and fell down during one night, but after telling the stuff they attached it properly quickly and everything was fine after that.
Everything was very clean. The rooms are a good size and everything was comfortable and good.

There is no shower curtain in the bathroom
The staff name Quentin was very nice and helpful. The location of the hotel is very near the main train station. Free afternoon tea was nice to have. Room is big, clean, and modern.

I love it!
Magnificent stay! Wonderful hotel, amazing staff, super helpful, super kind! Bonus… the hotel kept our luggage meanwhile we walked Montpellier! Great breakfast Oh La La! Great location— parking 6 minutes away!

The room was a little tired (cracked basin and chipped toilet seat) but still represented great value for money.
Attentive and helpful staff, good breakfast, pleasant décor and afternoon tea & cake! A tremendous city-centre location with easy-access to all Montpellier's many charms.

A fridge in the room would have been nice - especially for summer guests. As it was a chilly weekend, I popped a bottle of milk on the outside window sill for my coffee - and it was fine.
Right in the heart of the city, the tram even stops outside. This peaceful and pleasant choice with lovely staff made for a fine stay.

The location is excellent. A 3 minute walk from main train station with Trams even closer. Very central to the old city centre with all its bars, restaurants and shops. The street the hotel is on is a beautiful palm tree lined street with lovely architecture.

They try hard to please and our friendly and helpful there was a nice touch offering tea and cakes in the breakfast area around 4 -5 pm

Extremely comfy room. I ended up staying an extra night. Very close to the main square but on a quieter street. 5 mins to the train station. I asked for a quiet room and got one with with a courtyard view, very quiet and tucked away. Lovely comfy pillows and bed. Kettle in the room and able to connect to Chromecast.

The superior room does not have a tea table and a chair, which is different from the photo. A little disappointed. Maybe not all superior rooms equip the tea table and chair. The bath doesn't have a waterproof shed, which causes water to spread on the floor.
Location is pretty good. The staff is helpful and kind despite we had problems with room card first time.

Good location for both the railway station and the main town centre. The room was very comfortable and a good size. There were nice interior design touches around the hotel which added to its character. Breakfast good continental and enjoyed the afternoon 4-6 tea/coffee and cakes. Staff pleasant and helpful.

No safe in the room. Mold in the bathtub/shower. Breakfast buffet had only boiled eggs, no other choices. Nevertheless, considering room rate, it was still good value for money.
Room (superior) was large and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Location is good.

Price is likely a little high for a city like Montpellier. The bathroom was rather old with a bath tub without any curtain, not so practical.
Clean and spacious rooms. Very nice staff and good service. Cosy common parts, with complimentary tea and pastries. Good location.

It is at the top floor with a lot of stairs which is not easy with big suitcases. The washing machine wasn’t working while we were there and we had intended to use it. Check-out requirements also more onerous than usual
