Great old building Great characters. Staff only there certain times also had to leave a deposit .but nice pool but small .Arcachon is so nice thought .Great for bikes .bike room here so handy .

the building is historical, so there are very few power sockets in the room, we took an extension cord with us. There is no air conditioner in the room. Large windows, in addition to being beautiful, do not have mosquito nets, at the time of our trip this was not critical, we did not notice mosquitoes. Wooden floors, when people walked in the room above us, our chandelier on the ceiling wavered, not perfect soundproofing. The hotel is on a hill, walking up the hill from the station with a suitcase can be difficult if a taxi strike. Cafes, restaurants, supermarkets are located at the bottom of the hill. Nonetheless, I think it is good value for the price, if one accepts some disadvantages which were not critical for us. If coming to Arcachon next time in spring/beginning of summer when it is not yet so hot, we will stay in this hotel again.

Nice hotel in the calm area of the town, beautiful historical villa. Staid full week, small kitchenette was very helpful, the electric kettle was provided at the reception. Small drying rack was also helpful to dry the towels etc. Our room had high ceilings with panoramic windows heading the inner glass veranda and garden. Pleasant staff at the deception desk, gave a few helpful suggestions over most touristic attractions.

Nice old apparthotel in a very quiet and beautiful area up the hill, close to the center. Big studio with all you need.

It would have been nice to have had a bar/restaurant on site. The kitchenette area could have been a bit bigger and the description of how it was equipped could have been better.

We had a large room with probably the most comfortable bed I've had when travelling. The hotel was quiet with little noise from other guests. It's well located for access to the town & beach.

Pool aread coudl do wih a revamp , as there is no restaurant or Bar would be a great idea to have some vending machines for snacks and drinks

Sofa bed as a sofa was very uncomfortable to sit on

Wow what a beautiful hotel. The surrounding location is just so beautiful and so quiet. The hotel rooms are big and well kept. The staff are very friendly. It was great value for money and once you stayed here you will definitely be back.

Very quiet residence in beautiful surroundings of heritage houses. Good facilities available and within walking distance of town. Excellent breakfasts and friendly and helpful staff.

The hill!!

Location was perfect if you had a car We were on foot so if elevator wasn’t working then it was a trek up the hill!

Have to ask to borrow kettle and hair dryer, why? These are pretty standard items. Would be nice to have mosquito netting. The place is comfortable but the rooms would benefit from updating, especially considering the priced charged.

So hot in the room at night which made it difficult to sleep well. We didn't have air conditioning or a mosquito net so we couldn't leave the window open.

The hotel was very nice. Pool was small but clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The area where the hotel was located was beautiful, quiet and interesting though a good walk uphill from Arcachon.

It was extremely hot during a heatwave plus the forest fires, with smoke surrounding us on last day, so even if no aircon in our rooms it was present in main hotel area, so would’ve been great if they’d switched it on in the communal breakfast lounge.

Plenty of character, very well situated for a stroll through the park down to the beach. We were lucky to be in a family room with a terrasse opening onto the garden and short walk to the lovely pool.

The check out at 10:00 its a little bit early, i am pregnant and for me moving fast fast in the morning it wasn’t a good idea. At 10:05 the cleaning lady was opening the room. That it’s the only bad part.

The size of the room it s perfect, big, spacious, and you have all you need in there. We hace breakfast in the room so I don’t know much about the hotel breakfast.

The hotel has got a lot of character and the room was large with all the necessary facilities. Although it is not in the center, it is in a really good part of town and is very near the elevator/stairs that take you down to the center. I was are able to use their laundry facilities, which was really helpful as I was travelling, and there is an outside swimming pool and gardens which I wish I had time to use.
