Beautiful location and apartment. Spacious and clean with everything you need. Complimentary bottle of Prosecco. Delightful host who personally welcomed us. Lovely kids and gorgeous dog! Plenty of outside space with table and chairs with wonderful views of Loch Ness. Proximity to handsome Inverness.

Theses are things that can be easily rectified. Didn’t deter from out stay too much. We did enjoy our stay - things suggestions would make the apartment perfect) Cleaning - Floors appeared to have not been vacuumed (crumbs/bits in floors in living/ seating area). Shower screen has shampoo still smeared on inside of screen. Apartment was missing some necessary essentials in kitchen area (bottle opener, only one toilet roll provided, tongs for cooking, needs a decent frying pan - only a minute one provide). Also, a young lady (presumably the owners daughter) made it very clear to us on 2 separate occasions that she did not like us parking outside our apartment - gave us looks of distain and annoyance. I must stress - we recommend this apartment … these are a few minor things that can be sorted with ease.

Everything. Very comfortable and welcoming. The hosts had thought of facilities any guest would need, such as washing pods so laundry was an option if required and a rechargeable torch. We are already thinking of using this accommodation again in the future as it was so relaxing and cosy.

Unfortunately the TV didn't work until we bought and attached an external Ariel. Also the WiFi was very poor.

There were no table and chairs to eat on, which would have been helpful. These could be folding to make the best use of the space, but unless you enjoy eating every meal sitting on the sofa watching the TV (which, no fault of the owner, wasn't working properly during our stay) it wasn't entirely comfortable to eat our meals there. The fridge wasn't turned on when we arrived and there was nothing to indicate the plug switch we needed to turn on to make it work. The trash can was tiny and needed to be bigger, and a big trash bag would have been helpful to put all our rubbish in at the end. There wasn't room in the wheelie bin for all our rubbish either, so I had to leave some plastic bags around it which were undoubtedly rained on. While we could both cope with the stairs with good handrails, make sure that older or disabled people know that you have to climb a number of stairs at the entrance to the apartment.

The view over Loch Ness was stunning, the place to stay was clean and well-equipped and Siobhan, the owner was very pleasant and helpful. The double bed was very comfortable, with plenty of pillows and towels given to us to use. A few miles out of Inverness and a fifteen minute drive or so to the nearest supermarket, this was a quiet and lovely place to stay.

For those who needed, wi-fi is not the best, but the place invites you to disconnect so it is not a big problem

The place is a dream, the views are amazing and the owners were great! We recommend to use the map from Booking.com and not google maps (it has some difficulties locating the place)

Nothing - the accommodation was exactly what we required.

The accommodation was immaculate and set with a picturesque view over the loch. It was a short walk down the hill to Dores, where there was a lovely beach and local coffee shop. The hosts were very welcoming and communicated well pre arrival and on arrival.
