Room service little slow and a bit chaotic when ordering as it seemed there was lack of staff so had to phone few times to ensure order was received.

The hotel is set in lovely grounds overlooking the city of Bath. There was easy access to the city by public bus from the bottom of the drive. The staff were very attentive. Lovely breakfast with a great choice.

Room was very warm, even in April but there was air conditioning which we had to put on through the night.

The veggie sausages at breakfast were like dry cardboard, that is my only reservation about the meals we ate. The shower also steamed up the bathroom so much that there was water dripping everywhere, including from the ceiling which made everything very wet!

The room was lovely and clean, slippers and robes provided. The tea selection was good and we appreciated the mini fridge with real bottles of milk. The breakfast was delicious, the buffet cooked breakfast as well as the continental option and the menu items were all delicious and plentiful. The location for exploring Bath is superb, with a bus stop at the bottom of the drive (opposite side of the road to get into the centre) which took approx 15 mins to get to the city. Our evening meal in The Conservatory was lovely and relaxed, with a great wine list. Easy to get to the hotel from the motorway, and the staff were super helpful being that there was a half marathon blocking the town the following morning. For the price, our stay was great and we felt truly refreshed after our comfortable sleep.

For the price of the hotel would have excepted a swimming pool. The hotel has the land to create a fitness center with a swimming pool.

The breakfast was very good and service at the hotel was excellent. The hotel staff always went the extra mile to make our stay more enjoyable.

Nothing of note, other than my son had the pasta and it wasn’t very hot.

Really great service. Nice touch with the cookie and milk brought to the room before bed for the children. Comfortable bed and good facilities in the room. Also ate in the restaurant and food was tasty. The children’s menu was also particularly good value for money.
