Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The seperate bathroom with this room made me feel very much like a bother at night because the doors were so noisy.
Location was great, only a few minutes walk from the train station and with the Elizabeth Line you're in London in no time. Bed was very comfortable and place was very clean. Staff was friendly.

I didn't have the time but next time .
Didn't have the opportunity to eat at the hotel, as I was very busy and the location? I don't know also left early and came late for sleep. But plan to go back another time. Thanksfor having me.

The stairs. I walk with a stick & completely overlooked asking about the number of stairs. If it was only one flight of stairs, to the first floor, I wouldn’t mention it, but I didn’t realise when I booked we would be in an attic room. So sorry, we didn’t take any photo’s to share.
The reception staff were very nice & helpful. The beds & linen were fresh & clean. The room was clean & tidy & looked after each day with nice clean towels. It was a few minutes walk to Brentwood train station & 30-40mins to central London. A few minutes in the opposite direction takes you to the High St. with lots of nice shops & pubs. It was also very reasonably priced for having so much on the doorstep. We would use this B&B again, but would request a room on the lower floors.

There could have been a handier plug for the kettle and maybe some herb teas on offer.
Staff were lovely, friendly and efficient. It was also quiet even though it was full at the time with guests and my room backed onto the dining room (this didn't effect me at all). Bathroom was very clean and lovely to use and very handy across the hall from my room

The stairs are a bit steep, just need to be careful
Great for 2 adults and a child and free car parking all day. 2 mins from station for London trains via Elizabeth Line.

The room decor was a bit shabby and there was a big dip in the floor at the end of the bed which felt dangerous
The breakfast, which we booked on arrival, was excellent We had been upgraded to rooms with ensuite, which was very welcome Reception and catering staff were affable and helpful

We needed a place to stay in Brentwood for an event we was attending, and the hotel was situated in a good location, and of a good standard. It was very clean, and modern. Was very happy with our stay!

Steps leading up to the room. I have difficulty with stairs. Not much space between the shower and toilet .

There was quite a lot of noise and banging from about 11 till 3 in the morning, kept getting woken up.
Rooms were really clean, beds were comfy, very friendly staff, loads to choose from for breakfast, near to shops.

The hall lights were on all night, I couldn't fond how to switch them off, and made the room bright as the door was not sealed completely, so if you come, wear an eye mask. The walls and floor were not sound proofed so I could hear my upstairs neighbors talking and walking about.
Location is a short walk from the station and the main street where there were cafe's and shops. The room was spacious with a big bed, lots of cupboard space and a nice big desk. The Wi-fi worked well. The bathroom was very clean and a nice strong shower. Kettle in the room with cups, glasses, teas and coffees. I did not have the breakfast, but the menu looked good. The staff were friendly, efficient and gave all the necessary information needed.
