Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Didn't like the brown carpet on bedrooms. Needs updating .

Theres nothing we didnt like.
The location is brill, hotel is always nice and clean and the staff are great always polite and happy to help. And its dog friendly which is good my dog comes everywhere with me this is my second visit. Also buffet breakfast is great as you can choose what you want and dont want good selection.

Basic room (but for the price we wouldn’t complain) Other than that, not much can fault it. Not much going on at the bar. Again, not the end of the world.

Staff hanging around the exit door to the car park smoking and filling the exit with cigarette smoke. If they want to smoke just ask them to do it away from the doors.
We found the staff very friendly and accommodating. We were also pleased that arrangements were made so that we could eat with our dog at the hotel.

En suite was small but adequate. The was basin on the small side.
Comfortable bed . Breakfast was buffet help yourself style but there was plenty of well cooked bacon,sausage,fried and scrambled eggs, tomatoes,hash brown,mushrooms,baked beans,toast, yogurts,usual drinks cereals.

The room and bathroom were too small to be called a triple room, which spoiled our trip a bit. We had our adult daughter with us, which made the facilities uncomfortable to use.
The staff and breakfast were very good and position was excellent. The beds were comfortable.

No flat iron or ironing board in the room , but to be fair, mentioned this at check out, I was told I could have requested from reception however I had no wish to bother them, furthermore most places I've stayed supply these as standard, there was plenty of space to store in them in room. . The bathroom sink looks good, however not a practical shape and too small for purpose. Breakfast was for the most part cooked,with the exception of the sausages which needed to be turned during the cooking process to be done properly so I didn't risk them so I can't comment on taste, personally I'm not a fan of warmed up canned tomatoes or boiled mushrooms, I expect fresh grilled tomatoes and mushrooms cooked with bacon juices. Didn't try evening meal, the choices on offer didn't excite. The car parking was free, however there was a limited amount of space available and access was sometimes difficult due to inconsiderate customers parking outside of the bays.

Had a room looking over the Promenade. Buffet breakfast had many options. All staff members were very friendly and helpful. Family room good size. Used the downstairs sitting room for better wifi.
