Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room was on the smaller side but nothing too bad. There were no hooks on the back of the door for coats, or the bathroom door to hang wet towels
The location was perfect. So close to Bayswater tube! Beautiful and clean and amazing value for money. I loved that the room featured a kitchenette and full smart tv!

We were placed at the basement unit, so we can actually hear the vehicles on the road or even when people are walking around on the street.
The receptionist wast very friendly and polite. We arrived early so he let us to keep our baggage safelt before we checked in. The unit was a fully equipped house apartment, with all the things you required such as, kitchenette, microwave, iron and board, hot water and coffee maker. We stayed for 1 night but we felt very comfortable and safe with the neighbourhood. Very nearby to the halal restaurants (malaysian cuisine). Just a 5 mins walk to the nearest underground station. And 3 mins walk to the bus station.

More than 3 coffee pods & some milk cartons would have been great.

Only thing would be a slightly better quality mattress but was honestly pleased.and will rebook for business stays. Have had awful experiences recently so this was a delight. As a solo female traveller I felt safe.
Lovely welcome. Great location. Really appreciated the welcomeness of clean hallways etc. Room was lovely surprise. Really clean. Good shower. Good tea! Thanks.

My luggage is big and had to carry up the few steps to enter
Location is excellent. Just 5 mins walk to 2 train stations - Bayswater and Queensway. Nearby lots of restaurants , cafe and supermarkets. 10 mins walk to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. Property has lift within its premise Rooms is clean and equipped with small kitchenette. Has microwave and induction hob.

We did not appreciate the unconfortable dislocation of the recepetion in a different building. The after check-out luggage deposit was £ 50 and I think it is too expensive
We appreciated the H24 reception availability, we found a kind staff, we also needed a maintanance action and it was taken very fastly. The room was cleaned, fresh towels daily. The location is quite perfect in front of Hyde Park and close to many activities and the underground. The area is full of touristic apartaments and it is quite and safe.

The room was exceedingly small. The elevator does not go to the top floor and stops on third only. Not sufficient amount of utensils provided for cooking - could have done well with a few extra plates or bowls. The apartment was a bit pricey but if booked during a slow time when prices are lower, I think it would be good value. We stayed there to say money on food by cooking.
Clean, good decor on exterior. Kitchen facilities provided. Great location with Hyde park, multiple grocery stores and trains /buses just steps away. Outdoor patio on every floor seemed lovely but weather was too cold for us to enjoy.

Check in was in another location. I had a big luggage and had to check in at the office located opposite the hotel. There a few steps into the office which was challenging for me. After check in, i had to walked to the property where I stayed. Had to haul my luggage up a few steps into the property. Definitely not for elderly or disabled guests I found the bedsheets in the unit I stayed in to be dusty and request for a change which they did one day later. In the check in list, there is a full service for every 3 days stay. I never got that. I had booked for another stay at this property for another 2 nights on Apr 18-20. I hope that I will have a better experience next time
Location is great. 5 mins walking distance to 2 train station : Queensway & Bayswater. Restaurants and supermarkets nearby. There is a lift in the property

They need to sort out sound-proofing between adjacent bedrooms- bring your ear plugs.
Great location, spotless room and communal areas. Newly decorated, new bathroom, kitchen area with equipment.

The room needed pegs to hang our coats next to the door. Room needs kitchen towels or paper towels to dry the dishes and one more chair under the table, because this room is for 3 people.

The only annoyance I could think of was that the first evening someone with a very loud vehicle was cruising the neighborhood but the noise ended soon enough. This wasn't under MSK's control.
MSK was clean and convenient and the staff were very helpful.

The conditioner in this room is not working. We need to open the window at nite. However, there's the engine room next to the window, whole nite we heard the noise (slightly) from the engine.

The hot water in the shower was difficult to adjust. Also a tea towel in the kitchen would have been useful.
The location is outstanding - a nice area which is close to Bayswater station, shops and Hyde Park, and easy walking to many attractions.
