Amazing location, super rural, spectacular scenery, exceptionally quiet. Well off the beaten track and far from civilisation, perfect getaway for outdoor adventurers. If you want luxury and wall to wall restaurants and shops, this is not for you.

Could of done with an oven instead of just a stove top and small air fryer, Our bed was broken the middle beam was cracked and supported by a tree stump, Other wise loved everything

The view was amazing, very friendly staff, the lodge was amazing, newly finished and opened for us to use, Was nicely surprised with an upgrade from the room to a hole cabin as they was having so work done, Stunning views One of my favourite birthday weeks away in a long time will definitely be booking again

Because of when we stayed, the resturant wasn’t open both nights and the although the food was good on the night it was open, the menu choice was quite small. No problem with dietary requirements such as gluten free and vegetarian. Good pub, Colliers Arms, just down the road so not a problem on the night resturant was closed, although booking advised.

Location, cleanliness, owners and staff all really helpful. Not our first time here, and won’t be the last.

The only thing we won't say we didn't like but could be better is that there was only enough towel and bits for 2. But I'm sure if you asked for more, they would be able to accommodate. We had some with us anyway. And the taps. As we weren't sure whether they could be drunk from

The view and scenery were absolutely amazing. Lots of places to take the dog for a walk, take a stroll through the woods, or use the bike park, which is practically on the doorstep. The beds were comfortable, and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The food they served was perfect, and parking is easily accessible.

Nothing really, the main double bed mattess was a bit soft but that's preference. The bedroom was warm and cosy. Everything was great.

The scenery was incredible, and we were able to watch the sunset from the decked patio. The place had everything you needed for a self-catering catering trip. It was quiet, which was perfect for us and our dogs. You are provided with a bbq if you want to use it but there is an oven and microwave inside, a tv with a firestick and a good sized bathroom.

It was very wet and we found we dragged the mud in, with nowhere to leave our shoes/a doormat to wipe them on

The hills and the valley on the balcony were amazing. The cabin was very clean and had utensils. Good wifi connections which we used most times as it was raining throughout the stay. The owners were friendly and approachable. We ( with with 15 months old baby) had dinner at the restaurant which was good as well.

absolutely perfect for a cycling weekend! Beautiful location with great facilities. Reasonably basic inside but would accommodate a large group. Cooking facilities and an attractive Veranda . Magnificent views across the valley. Just needs a little bit of tender care as it is showing a little bit of wear and tear. Great value for money.

The lock in the room was broken and it was quite difficult to close the door. A food is a bit too high in carbs. I would recommend making the food more balanced, or at least adding some vegetables. For example, I ordered lasagne and chips (it's like a meal, you can't just order lasagne). It's already full of carbohydrates and there was also garlic bread. It would have been much better to have a fresh salad instead of the bread/chips. My husband had the chicken burger and there were no vegetables, just a bun, chicken and mayonnaise.

Beautiful location, you can enjoy a stunning mountain view while sitting outside or inside the restaurant. Clean and comfortable rooms. Close to the Afan Bike Park and biker friendly.

Nothing really as we loved it but pointing out it needed a new bathroom door lock as I got trapped in it twice! Ha ha! and the door itself wouldn't stay shut without using the dodgy lock. Shower needs unblocking as slow to drain too. But I doubt staff know about these things if their guests don't tell them so it's not a criticism on them at all, just letting them know so they can fix them for future. All in all it was excellent and I'd really recommend it to others. Staff are lovely and helpful too.

Not easy to get to without a car, though we did manage to get taxis.
