Upstairs was a bit of a letdown, decor was old and tired compared to downstairs. There were no sockets near bed for phone charger(was one but couldn't fit any plugs into it?) Had to do hair over by the TV. On another note, access for wheelchair users going to function room upstairs was a BIG let down, the lift used outside for them needs to be upgraded ASAP. Very unsafe for all involved (employees/guests) especially when it's been raining.

Was there for a family wedding and booked to stay the night, was a beautiful place unfortunately didn't get to use spa. Decor downstairs was lovely as were the grounds. Food was de-lic-ious. Room was clean and bed was comfy. When opened curtains in the morning got a bit more than I bargained for, could see a gentleman across from us in his bathroom(thank goodness for the frosted window 🫣)

This is just a sugetion and personal prferences, not that was negative or anything but i woul love that the spa had biger towels and robes fo people that used the swimming pool, the toilets in the rooms should had a shower as well and the mattresses are really hard to sleep on, again it's just personal to me, but still had a lovely time.

The staf was amazing, the food was very good and the hotel was beautiful.

Lounges, dining area, and the room I stayed in all seemed to have been renovated recently otherwise very well maintained. I had their 2-course menu which was delicious. Breakfast was a great selection with the staff offering pots of tea and coffee's to be made for you. Staff were extremely helpful throughout and even offered some travel help that I asked for. I'd highly recommend staying for a relaxing, easy stay.

The rooms and corridors are a bit dated. But the beds are comfortable and it's good value for money.

The bar and restaurant areas have a very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Food is always excellent. All the staff were amazing. Entertainment has been great any time we visited.
