It was just bad covid timing

When I stayed it was heavily impacted by covid. I may have not experienced it as it would have been under normal circumstances.

The car park was 150m away and it was pouring with rain. Breakfast started 10m late and I was in a hurry. I couldn't close the window and road noise was a bit of an issue.

Location. The room was a good size and well equipped.

Needs updating and would certainly benefit from double glazing as it was nosey and drafty at night. Invoices need updating it staff to communicate with guests on arrival, as we missed breakfast because invoice said we only had room, not breakfast. Booking.com was bed and breakfast so we paid £95 and had no breakfast or refund cos we weren't told.

The hotel has in the town and not far from the rail station.

Was there for a event with so others. The hotel was ok but it looks a little need of decoration. Some of the locals tell me that it has "gone down heel". Paid over £100 for two nights (it was for a single but was a double room) and breakfast was not included.

Bathroom was a bit shabby with mould around the bath, and the extractor fan was not working. The restaurant was closed which meant venturing out on a rainy evening to buy dinner

The pub is close by and gets a little noisy late at night

Decor is very dated. Wallpaper in corridors peeling off wall. Window frames needed cleaning. Bulbs in picture lights were hanging awkwardly. It just needs management to notice the detail that those staying in the rooms notice.

Very Tired in need of upgrade. Restaurant and Bar closed on arrival @ 7pm - no evening meal available.

Very hot in my south-facing bedroom from summer sunshine. No air conditioning and unable to open windows. Could clearly hear noisy people in the next room through the thin dividing wall. Unable to regulate shower temperature. Restaurant closed in the evening due to Covid.

Friendly helpful staff. Central location. Breakfast. Close to town centre. Motorcycle allowed to be parked in hotel overnight. Very comfortable bed. Large bedroom and bathroom. Good value for money.

The location I hadnt realised it was located so near to so many bars. Loud music till 11pm then the noise from people who felt the need to shout every word they said.

Unlike the town the hotel has not been modernised. Paint coming off the wall, no way to change the window position, blinds broken chips on the bath tub.

location is good. right in the middle of town. Good for the local countryside. Very comfortable bed. Lovely hot water and lots of it. Polite staff

Room was a gtreat size and clean, but very dated and old fashioned, no air con, so room was vwry uncomfortable, was the middle of a heatwave, also front door was locked at 11pm so we couldn't get in, had ro wait 10 mins on someone letting us in .

our sink was blocked so we had to wash our faces using the bath which wasn’t that big of a deal, but the radiator didn’t work and it was very cold, but the duvet was thick enough that once under it it was warm

Bathroom very dated and was not particularly clean. Bath in particular contained many hairs from previous occupant. Couldn't get bath taps to work.

Comfy bed and good quality bedding. New carpet in bedroom area.

The closeness to weatherspoons which meant the noise after throwing out time.
