The out buildings are more like small chalets but the house itself was lovely! Paper thin walls and noisy neighbours rolling in in the early hours woke me and their alarm which they slept through for an hour woke me - so a very broken nights sleep but that wasn’t the owners fault!

Nothing, room and bed were clean and tidy. Will book again if working in the area again.

Lovely location, perfect for a night away. You can park right outside your room. Overall at this price point it is good value compared to Premier Inn prices. Very nice lady guides you to the house after calling in at the Crown Pub who own the house.

i was told by IM that there was a washing machine in the kitchen, there wasnt. The skylight was stuck in a open position, so unable to open it or close it, i did try several times, ended up putting a towel in the gap to stop bats and noise of the road. The shower was literally piss poor, with very loew water pressure so ended up chasing the few drops that came out of the nozzle. poor

3rd time here, the 2nd in the main house, and the same room, most things were fine but a few things not so good, the ride to the location is always a pleasure

Not something for me to dislike really. But just a strange set up, which came as a surprise.

Very clean and comfortable room. Ample parking. A strange set up though. The accommodation, is managed by the nearby Crown Hotel. When I called the phone number, I actually spoke to staff at the Crown. They joined me, after five minutes, at Clare with the keys. A comment, when booking, that you really need to contact the Crown Hotel, would be helpful. Food, for an evening meal and breakfast is available nearby.

Here was bugs in the bath and other people being noisy late at night when they came back late. There was instructions how to get the key or where to leave it when you go.we still go back again. The toilet didn't flush well either

The room was in what appears to be someone’s house. The noise of people walking around upstairs was quite loud. The bathroom was separate from the room and was shared with another room. ( not nice) there is also no option for breakfast so £75.00 is a lot of money to just sleep in a bed that was really hard.

It was close to my mums and it has space for parking.

There are some significant issues. The road noise is horrendous, even on a Saturday and Sunday night, preventing a good sleep. No fan is provided which in the summer might allow you to close the window to try to reduce the noise. The internal walls seem thin or are not well soundproofed so running taps and conversations in other rooms disturbed me. Although I did not use the kitchen there was dirty washing in the sink all weekend. The WiFi is adequate but did drop out a lot. The shower, whilst providing hot water, could hardly be called effective.

The room is in a property connected to local pub and has good parking, is off road and arrival process was very efficient. Overall the bedroom was comfortable and clean. My score is mostly connected to the road noise.

i`ve been here before but stayed at the annex rooms first time. So first time in the main house, all good, good sized kitchen, the room up on the 1st floor was good, no windows as such just a skylight, ok sized shower room, nice sized bed and sockets by the bed

could of done with a fridge as i had to put the milk n the doorstep overnight to keep cool, been out in the sticks was fine to a point but along way from any shops etc

an interesting spot out in the middle of nowhere, good sized room, everything worked, good sized bed and plenty of light thru the patio door and windows, it was the location which was very strange but ok for all that

Turned up in the evening to check in but no-one was around. I called the number and someone drove down from the hotel to let us in and give keys. Apparently it was a problem with the system so understandable. The room was tidy and in good order if a bit tired. We spotted a few lice creatures in the bathroom of both rooms which I see has been noted in previous reviews from others. Didn't bother me too much but I'm sure others won't like this.

Place was okay, nice and quiet. Situated a mile away from the owning pub which served decent food for a good price. The staff were attentive to our concerns and prompt at solving them.

Checked in to my room soon as walked in it just smelled of damp, I then looked under the bed sheets and I was horrified at what I found, I can only describe as small lice like creatures crawling in the bed I would avoid this place at all costs
