The coalshed is an amazing place, great location and shops and restaurants close by. The entire place was amazing, looks very nice and like the communal area we could play as family and we liked the boardgames as well. Our bedroom was done so nicely and the bathroom with the dark finish looks amazing. The shower is the perfect size, the water pressure and hot water is great. The double bed where I stayed and shared with my little one was very comfortable and the pillows were actually the best. I loved every single bit of the place and Emma was incredibly helpful too.

The bed could have been slightly more comfortable, but that's the only thing I can think of to improve.

It was a really clean and unique place to stay. Exactly what we needed for a one night stay before getting a early morning flight. Easy to access and find. Felt safe. Would definitely stay there again.

Even though all the sighs reduce noise to minimum was so awful people there playing at 11 pm shouting slamming doors being just so selfish wanted to punch them.. otherwise place is really nice.

I was glad to take my own scented candle in a jar as - though not overpowering - I could smell the cleaning fluids used in the bathroom.

It was clean, comfortable, spacious. I liked that I had my own little store of cutlery, plates and they provided a little bit of coffee to filter. Super convenient location for the purpose of my stay. Close to lots of interesting shops, bars and cafes.

not having any sort of bin in my apartment was difficult. nowhere to put unwanted items until going out to the kitchen. its strange not actually having a wardrobe or drawers to place clothes.

Due to being vegan, I took my own breakfast, milk and butter. I don't expect these to be provided. It was good to have use of the microwave.

Our heater didn’t work but we weren’t too cold in the end. Very noisy with young children playing in games room, thin walls, but all was quiet after 10pm.

CoalShed is a gem in the heart of Bedminster! I have lived in Bristol and have always been on the other side of the river and was a bit worried about staying in Bedminster but I now absolutely love the area. The room had everything we needed and more, it was really warm, the bed was comfy, we really couldn’t ask for more. The communal space is so important, there’s plenty of space and a communal kitchen! The honesty bar was a great perk which we used a lot. We were missing a blanket and I just sent the team a quick text to which they responded immediately telling me how to access extra laundry. They were really communicative and helpful with everything from bedding to where to park the car. Loved our stay!

My girlfriend found the pillows too big, but she's fussy. Rooms were not very soundproof.

The room was cosy and had everything we needed for our stay. Bathroom facilities and provided soaps were great. Common room and self-check in/out was cool.

Everything was so easy, no checking in and out! I was able to park right outside as well. I loved the communal area and managed to fit in a game of ping pong even though it was a very quick visit to Bristol. The rooms had everything I needed and everything worked and was really clean. It was very quiet as well considering I was in the middle of a city.

The bathroom sliding door did not quite shut so privacy was not possible - that was the only thing as everything else was great.

Quirky set up, novel use of an old building. Comfy beds, great facilities, many extras such as a spare bulb for the lamp, everything we could want. Imagine, a table tennis table, pool table, an honesty bar, plus a really well stocked kitchen plus a fridge and kettle, coffee maker etc in our room.

The only thing I was a bit worried about is that it seemed to have no staff, so if anything had happened I wouldn't have known who to contact.

It was so cool, free pool and ping-pong, nice kitchen, lovely rooms and the location, even tho it was out of the centre was a lovely area.
