All the staff were friendly and helpful and catered for all our needs. The Hotel is in a perfect position for walking into Burford and parking at the hotel was a bonus.

Room was very comfortable and everything we needed was well catered for. The Bathroom was modern and shower was great. Our only criticism would be the noise of the traffic waking us up at 5am each morning but that wouldn’t stop me from booking this hotel again in the future.

Dinner and breakfast at the hotel were moderate. The hotel was not far from town but it seemed a steep walk.

Large parking spaces. The rooms are comfortable. We had a good sleep even though it’s on the main road.

The room cleanliness can be improved . There was mold under the bath plastic mat that was folded and hadn't been used. Also use of plastic artificial plants is not hygienic and tasteful.

Room facing A40 a bit noisy with HGVs passing throughout the night. As earplugs were provided, the management appears to be aware of this.

Breakfast was a disaster. Waited 30 minutes to get my poached eggs and was offered nothing else except a small cup of coffee when I sat down. Menu said pastries/toast, but these were not offered and no where obvious to help yourself. Ran out of time to finish my meal as meetings booked, so felt extremely disappointed after such a lovely evening the night before :(

Beautifully presented rooms and communal areas. The barman/waiter/check-in clerk was warm and welcoming and service at dinner impeccable. Food was delicious too.

Only really that the road at the front of the hotel where the bedroom was situated was quite noisy. If I stay again I'd probably request a room at the back of the hotel if that's possible. However, it did not impact a good nights' sleep.

Excellent food and drinks, lovely relaxed atmosphere. Staff were helpful, well trained and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious.

Due to our room being on the ground floor adjacent to the delivery/kitchen area, it did get a bit noisy from 06:30am and the room was very warm despite having the radiators off.

Cozy bedrooms, clean and high quality bathrooms. Great quality of in-room amenities that helped make it a unique stay. Welcoming bar and restaurant areas, good selection of drinks and fantastic quality food. Friendly and helpful staff on check-in and in the restaurant.

The only down side this time, which really couldn’t be helped was the room above ours was very loud. The TV was very loud early hours of Sunday morning , you could hear it very clearly, which woke us both, followed by lots of walking about for hours!! Not sure why this was but it did disturb us and wasn’t the best.

Great location for us visiting family, stayed here once before and were very impressed with the room and cleanliness as well as the friendly staff, so we booked again and weren’t disappointed.

Booked table. Miserable and unhelpful staff. Had to ask for drinks 20 minutes after ordering and then wrong drink. Clearly not experienced bar staff as put mixer in drink even though it should have been to the side.Then waited 45 minutes for food. Couple on next table waited over an hour and a half for their food. Chairs were dirty and table not cleaned properly. Very disappointed.considering restaurant not busy.
