Air conditioning in room didn't work

We were in room 308. The air conditioning was not working. A night Manager who was very pleasant came to check and said he would reboot the system and allow an hour for it to turn back on. It never did and room temp was 25.7 degrees. We were given a desk fan which helped a little but very warm in room which made the stay less comfortable. Beds were comfy and room well equipped. All staff were friendly and breakfast was delicious.

The breakfast was a bit bland. But still average.

The walls are a bit thin which did impact our sleep when we had noisy neighbours.

Great restaurant menu, fantastic allergen awareness by staff at the restaurant. Well stocked room with lots of glassware and a very comfy bed with great pillows!

Not accepting cash payments,especially at the bar,I don't like the "CARD PAYMENT ONLY" nonsense,that is being forced on us,we have the right to have a choice,when you remove choice,you also remove what little freedom we now have,it is WRONG,and this is my only gripe about my stay in your Hotel. Many people gave their lives for this Freedom,it came at a great cost.Stop pandering to the Banks,who are pushing this, because they make a lot of money from Card payments,Especially from Companies your size.Give us back "CHOICE".

The Hotel was chosen for it's location next to the National Exhibition Centre,and have stayed there before. The food was very good,the staff were very helpful,very polite easy to talk to, good sense of humour.

Only thing that was a little awkward. The room has a desk but no mirror above there, so had to give the chair to behind the door and have a wardrobe open to have a mirror dry and do hair, etc. Which was a little tricky as you don't have anywhere to lay your equipment and are blocking the door also.

All staff were very friendly and efficient. Breakfast options very very good, and the member of staff that greeted us was so friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate, and the bathroom the same.

Prices on the bar menu were a little steep. There was no separate menu for breakfast. Choices were either continental or hot buffet, including pastries. I would have personally liked a menu what could have offered perhaps avocado on toast, eggs and smoked salmon etc. breakfast was lovely though. When I was relaxing before I left there was allot of banging above my room, not ideal as it wasn’t quiet.

the food at the restaurant isnt at top

The room was spacious, with a big bathroom a nice tv. It was giving on the parking however it was very calm. The bed is very comfortable. The breakfast was very good.
