Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomRoom was a little warm, we turned all radiators off and kept windows open. Doors are very noisy, slamming shut by themselves, not by people slamming them intentionally, which woke us up a couple of times.
Nice country house. We liked the idea of the lounge bar downstairs. Our room (number 2) had a huge comfortable bed and an amazing bath. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

United KingdomNothing not to like.
Location only a short drive from St David’s. Rooms were beautiful and everything you need for a comfortable stay was provided including iron and ironing board, hairdryer, small fridge, toiletries, robe and slippers and more including Welsh cakes on arrival. The food served in the restaurant was delicious and breakfast had plenty to choose from. The added bonus of a small bar in the cellar was a lovely way to spend the evening and the staff were all very friendly and polite. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for somewhere to spend a relaxing night or two that is that little bit extra special.

United KingdomNot a real criticism , as it didn’t spoil my stay , but think you could put an independent small light in the bathroom as in middle of night , main light and fan come on , so not very quiet for sleeping partner !!! Thought the mirror with lights over sink could be put on as individual light in middle of the night , and not just worked from main switch . But that is the only thing , and for 3days it didn’t interfere with our enjoyment of your lovely place .
Breakfasts both days were superb , and first night evening meal was delicious , and plentiful , as all meals were ✔️

United KingdomThe room was expensive for what it was, it was not 100% clean. I have said the meal was tasty, however, it was more of home cooked rather than chefy.

United KingdomNothing, absolutely nothing.
Beautiful house with lots of original features and tastefully decorated, it has a warm and friendly atmosphere. Delicious food well presented both at dinner and breakfast, piping hot and freshly prepared. Welcoming friendly staff. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble not that we had to ask for anything; every little detail had been thoughtfully provided. From the complimentary Prosecco to the delightfully fragrant diffusers in the bedroom and scented candle in the bathroom (along with the candle lighter). Soft fluffy towels and toiletries perfumed with essential oils. I would recommend Craig Glas to everyone, we will certainly return.

United States of AmericaWe trusted our GPS but the drive took us through tiny meandering back roads - we wondered if we would ever find Crug House. Perhaps they could include the more direct route as a recommendation.
Breakfasts and dinners (!!) were wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we felt warmly greeted both upon arrival and at the end of each of our days. Our room was beautifully furnished and the welcome of Prosecco was a nice touch. If it had been cold, the fireplace would definitely have been put into happy use.
