Homely and relaxing with outdoor space. Central for visiting coastal villages. Owners were friendly and welcoming. Lots of nice art work on the walls

Everything that you would need was provided. The location was very quiet and the host came and met us after we arrived to show us how everything worked.

The lane from the road to the cottage was bumpy and rough. Not too long though so just have to drive really slowly

Lovely location. Lots of extras in the cottage and very roomy. Very sweet little courtyard and beautiful views of the sea. Looking forward to returning.

The heating is electric blow heaters on the walls that have to be individually operated remotely. They would be unlikely to be warm enough mid winter. There is no real fire. Electric convector heating is also dry and gives me a headache.

The owner, who lives next door,is very helpful but not intrusive. The cottage is lovely. Very quiet and secluded with really beautiful gardens and woodland to explore. Distant sea views. In the countryside but convenient for Lower Largo and St Andrews (easy, fast road.).

Beautiful scenery, gorgeous cottage, quirky style. Lovely field walks and surrounding grounds. Local beach was so beautiful. Host friendly and very helpful.

We visited in November and, even with modern heating system put in, we were often quite cold if we'd turned if off. We didn't want to run the heating too often with the costs that the hosts would acrue, so bring some blankets to snuggle up on the sofa with! The electric blanket on the bed, however, was excellent.

A great holiday home complete with everything you could need. Fully kitted kitchen, spacious lounge, nice size bathroom and great bedrooms. Lovely decor throughout, and the enclosed terrace was a great bonus. The views were fantastic too. Thank you for being dog friendly also!

Having to leave too soon !!

The cottage was lovely, both quirky and cosy and had a lovely view. It was very well equipped and even had an electric blanket on the double bed. The only thing that was missing was a CD/DVD player but since the WiFi connection was good, it wasn't an issue. We would thoroughly recommend Cutty Sark Cottage and would certainly go back there.

Very secluded, private and tranquil. Lovely light filled accommodation, which was well equipped with very comfortable beds. The views from the cottage are stunning. Perfect location for the many small fishing villages in the area and relatively close to St Andrews. We were looking for a break away from the busyness of life and Cutty Sark Cottage really gave us that. We loved it so much we have booked a return trip.

The cottage sits in a delightful rural location with fabulous views. The grounds are idyllic. It has great facilities and is truly an oasis of calm. It is close to the Fife coastal villages and many amenities.

Excellent stay at the cottage. Beautiful house with a cracking view down to the River Forth. Our dog settled very well too.

Nothing really the cottage had everything you would need to enjoy your stay.

Breakfast N/A. A bit further out than we expected. About a mile to the lovely Upper Largo Hotel (highly recommended) but unable to walk there as no pavement. The surroundings at the cottage were great to walk 2 small dogs

Patio area could have been a bit more secure for the dog. Otherwise, a lovely spot. Would return.

Having to leave to come home

Fabulous cottage, stunning view over the firth of forth towards North berwick, superbly peaceful, the owner was so approachable and absolutely lovely, secure garden for the dogs and loads of space to take them for a walk, booked to go back in september you will not be disappointed
