Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Having to leave.
Our whole experience was exceptional. excellent value for money. Staff very friendly clean and tidy room excellent breakfast service great .Places are very few and far between these days with the personal service would defiantly stay again.

The location was great. Having free parking was an absolute bonus and the freedom to go in and out as we pleased. The room was so warm and comfortable it made for a great nights sleep - the facilities were brilliant and I especially liked having the SMART TV. It gave us much more freedom for things to watch in the evening that fitted our taste. The staff were lovely and welcoming and couldn’t do anymore than we asked. Will definitely be coming again!

The Staff were absolutely excellent. The welcome was really good and the lady serving the breakfasts was so on the ball. I would give this lady 10/10. The hotel was quiet, and there were no banging of doors in the night.

Good clean room Bed a little hard for my personal preference but nothing major. Friendly, welcoming staff. Was able to check in early and out later with no extra charge. Close to Pleasure Beach.

Friendly and welcoming host, rooms were very clean, tidy and comfortable, very handy having parking in Blackpool. Situated near to tram stop. Bar in hotel was cheap and nice to relax after long day. Would definitely book again.

We had no complaints at all.
We were made very welcome by the owner. When we asked about directions to a venue we wanted to go to, she took us there in her car and offered advice about getting a taxi ordered to ensure we got to a wedding the following day. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and newly decorated. Breakfast was freshly cooked. We thought it might be noisy as we were overlooking the road but it was surprisingly quiet. Excellent value for money. Parking is available which is a plus in Blackpool. It has a lift so you don't have to lug your cases up the stairs.

Bathroom was cold, had to leave the bathroom door open to warm it up. It didn't really bother us as it warmed up after a hour with the door open.
Clean, comfortable, lift to all floors, bar area nice with very good bar prices, ideal to relax after a day on the front. Plenty of parking we arrived after 3 in the afternoon. Peaceful no outside noise.

Bed was hard it was OK for my other half just not for me and from our room all we could hear is knocking constantly but you do get used to it. I know the following isn't the hotels fault but we was woken up at 5am by someone trying to get into our room and then carried on knocking and wouldn't go away untill my other half opened the door.
Everything was so good. The friendly welcoming staff! Has a lift! Cheap drinks and pool table. Very close to see front and team stops.

Super friendly welcome on arrival and a lovely big breakfast served by nice, friendly staff. The off road safe parking and a lift to the rooms were a bonus and made the weekend so much easier for my 85 year old father. I would recommend the Delton Hotel and will definitely book there again.

More taxis in Blackpool would be good, but can't fault the hotel, right next to the Pleasure Beach and Pleasure Beach train station. Little dated and would have had breakfast if it was on longer (only available 9 to 9.30), but nothing else wrong at all.
Lovely staff - friendly, helpful,and let us leave our luggage free of charge on our last day and pick it up later. Spotlessly clean room, soft comfy twin beds and lots of clean fresh towels. Didn't eat there but smelt great.
