I went down for dinner at 8.20 to discover the kitchen was closed despite it saying (last orders for food in the restaurant at 8.45 on the room key) this was disappointing as the only alternative was KFC across the road and I had to venture out in the pouring rain. When I asked the girl on reception about the restaurant times she simply said the kitchen was closed at 8pm despite serving curries to two other customers in front of me.

Dock location and close to the baltic triangle and within walking distance of city centre. Room was clean and spacious, fast wifi - was up for work and managed to do some work from my room with no connectivity issues. Breakfast was buffet style hot and cold options and good quality.

The toilet is very small, which reminds me of a cruise toilet. Can be a bit noisy because it's beside a busy road, but good thing they provide ear plug in the room in case you need it to sleep.

Free parking and walking distance to city center. The room is clean too.

My room was a twin but too small for 2 people. Not a fan of the pod bathrooms, everything in in but I've been in bigger shower cubicles. Door wouldn't fully open as it hit the bed, not ideal in the night if someone was in that bed. I would still stay again as the location and parking out weights the bathroom.

Staff were very friendly throughout my stay. Breakfast had a great selection both hot and cold. I had room 220 so a waterside view. Parking a bonus. A few minutes walk to Albert Dock and easy access to the city centre.

The rooms are very small - they were fine for our needs we only wanted to sleep there! The shower room is a ship's cabin triangle in the corner of the room with an 8 inch step in. There are no blackout blinds - the streetlight and daylight streams in even with the curtain closed.

Bed was comfortable and the location gives easy access to the city - free parking being a bonus for a city hotel. The breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Alan and the team where very friendly, The cooked breakfast was very good. The evening meal that we had was excellent and very good value.The room in fact the whole hotel smelt fresh and was very clean. the bed was very comfortable. The shower room and toilet was compact but usable and clean.The hotel lounge was comfortable and the bar prices where reasonable.

Location was great, free parking, spotlessly clean, and what a bonus the wonderful view was! We came back each evening for a night cap and to watch the sunset! I even had an early bird alarm each morning!
