Neil and Rosemary made sure our stay was fabulous. Very attentive service and immaculate rooms. Super quiet location and beautifully presented. A stay here is a real treat Great local food options in a stunning area. Super comfortable beds and top quality furniture and fittings. Delicious breakfast. I enjoyed the homemade granola very much! We'll be back!

No evening meal available at hotel so had to go to two local pubs . First pub was good , on second night the second pub food was poor ,staff unhelpful , demanded money off meal which was agreed.

Lovely ambiance and tastefully decorated in keeping with the style of the original house. Very comfortable bedroom and stocked with everything you need. Excellent breakfast. Neil and Rosemarie were excellent hosts. Nice cosy bar. I would imagine in the summer the grounds are lovely to sit in. Also convenient location for both Lyme Regis and Seaton for eateries

Everything was perfect.

Great hotel, we stayed in the ground floor suite with our two miniature dachshunds which was perfect for us with doors opening directly onto the garden, lovely to have so much space, the bathroom was one of the nicest bathrooms we have had in a hotel. We took breakfast in the bar with our dogs and it was delicious, dogs received a sausage. Lovely grounds to walk in. Hotel only 8 minutes drive from Lyme Regis. Will definitely be back and highly recommended.

There was nothing not to like. Hosts, views, location, grounds, parking, room, especially the huge walk-in shower, facilities, and breakfast were perfect! Nice touch giving Roscoe (my beloved dog) a sausage or two at breakfast! Breakfast choice is amazing! Even a fenced-in area to let tour pooch off leash!

We have just returned home after spending a few days in Dorset. We stayed at the Dower House and really enjoyed our stay with Neil and Rosemarie. Their hotel has a warm and friendly feel and they were very welcoming. Our bedroom was beautifully decorated (though the bed was a bit too soft for us - we spoke to Rosemarie the following day and she very kindly sorted out the mattress for us and we slept very well the following nights) and the on-suite very well positioned and very clean. Breakfast was very delicious too, we had a full English breakfast each day. We would definitely return and would also recommend this accommodation to others

The property was elegant, spacious and well maintained. The hosts were very pleasant and welcomed us as if we were relatives. For Great Dane dog lovers, they could be greeted in an outdoor enclosure, which was an added bonus for us.

The property had great parking; very well presented; lovely Christmas decorations; good quality bedding and bathroom facilities; a secure area for the dog to run around; brilliant breakfast and drinks options; very attentive and accommodating staff; very dog friendly. Overall a very enjoyable stay. We would definitely stay again, and happily recommend to others!
