Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe room was insanely small, there was barely room to walk, not worth £70 per night Also for the whole night there was a constant noise of a fan and I could hear water running in the pipes from other rooms - didn't sleep much to be fair. The window was not a window but just a glass as it couldn't be opened for fresh air not even for 5cm. The toilet was so tiny, to use the sink I had to put one foot inside of the shower plate, which is not nice I think! and they only provide one towel by default. I think is TOO BASIC for £70 per night as a solo person and £70 for a couple as well
Personell was extremely kind and helpful

United KingdomThe room and ensuite were much smaller than I was expecting and it was a tight squeeze to shower behind a curtain resulting in water spill. I had also to store clothes on the floor as there was no room chair. The city view turned out to be the back of an adjacent building and the bed pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable
This hotel is in an excellent location, 5 minutes walk from Buchanan St Bus station and te city centre. It was also a 10 minute walk to my destination at Strathclyde Sport which was my destination. On arrival, the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was of a good size and was comfortable with a suitably warm duvet. The shower had a good pressure and temperature. The tv was in good working order and well positioned above the foot of the bed.

United KingdomVery small, just room for a bed and the toilet was nearly in the shower. My husband used the shower which soaked the toilet and everything else due to the small space. No Wi-Fi that we know of or told about, pillows were very flat. No option of another pillow if needed. Definitely not worth £98 for one night. It is advertised as city centre but was a good 10 minutes out of the main centre
It was clean and reception staff helpful

FranceThe room was very small but okay for just one night. The "bathroom" was really uncomfortable, the toilet and the shower were literally in the same spot.
The position was great, in a few minutes walking we were at the city center.

United KingdomThe shower is really small. If you are a big person, you might struggle. Saying that, it is like a wet room on a boat. Everything can potentially get wet.
Clean , basic. All you need if you want a bed and shower. Upgrade from a backpacker dorm.

United KingdomWindowless room. Thought no windows would be okay but woke up through the night feeling very stuffy. This actually lasted after we checked out. Air quality was terrible. Had to put the air conditioner on which made constant noise instead. It was a balance between two versions of a bad sleep. Very very cramped layout. Two people trying to move around at the same time meant bumping into each other. Asked for an iron but there was no ironing board or any flat surface really. Everything just felt like it was harder to do than it would’ve been in a better room. I woke up at 5am and couldn’t get back to sleep because it was legitimately hard to breathe. Considered going all the way downstairs and out just to not feel so claustrophobic. Scottish rainstorm stopped me.
Easy to check in. Staff friendly. Good location if you’re attending something at the Hilton Doubletree across the road and cheaper too.
