You added extra charges without consulting me& I only verified when I got home to Canada---The phone bill for local calls was outrageous--I do not have cell phone so was never notified of cost for local calls---I was calling sick family members who I was visiting and was under much stress when checking out on April 23rd early morning so have not had time to verify my extra bill--It was 400 pounds approx & I could not believe it.I would like a breakdown of the cost & what that was for including local phone calls. I stayed at Dalmahoy for 5 days before my stay at Delta & never charged for local phone calls.

I found it more expensive to stay here than the Dalmahoy but good location to airport& local bus route/

The swimming pool area didn’t feel clean. Dirty bit corner on the floor in the steam room. Bed was a bit firm for my liking

Room design not very convenient, heating didn’t work, pillows too soft, cistern refilling made noise loud enough to wake us from sleep. At these prices daily cleaning should be included, not by request only.

The room was too warm and the window didn't open far enough for ventilation.

Room and bed were extremely comfortable, breakfast was excellent, in particular I liked the sparkling water dispenser in the reception area.

The room was too warm and the window wouldn't open far enough to ventilate the room properly. The air conditioning wasn't working and eventually I was given a different room which contained a free standing air conditioning unit, which cooled the room appropriately was noisy for sleeping and so the room heated up again during the night. Instead of a comfortable relaxing evening, I had the opposite.

The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable.

The hotel was perfect in all respects.

Perfect for a stay before our flight out of Edinburgh airport, close to the airport. The hotel has some great facilities and a lovely outdoor area.

The restaurant was disappointing for our evening meal. The only menu available was the same as the bar menu. Very limited choice. Not really sure why is was called the Cast Iron Grill and displaying references to steaks. Not a single steak available. The children’s menu was also very disappointing. On a positive, the breakfast was lovely. Lots of choice and nicely presented. In terms of our room. Very nice. Spacious and stylish. Negatives were no shampoo or shower gel and also the shower screen was faulty. Not majors. Swimming pool was good, clean and nice friendly staff.

Fitness centre and swimming pool area in desperate need of refurbishment. Steam room, Jacuzzi, Pool etc. also needed cleaning thoroughly. Also having to pay for parking given this hotel is located on the outskirts of the city was not expected. The car park is large enough to not charge for parking and many other Delta's we have been to do not charge.

Some of the appliances/furniture in the room are starting to show its age but that is completely negligible!

Excellent service from the staff, had a slight issue with the room and they went above and beyond to rectify the issue and then some!

Duplicated charge for the first night called double booking whereas I booked once and showed up as scheduled. I still await its reversal.

A PhD in plumbing would help with using the shower..! I think they already know this as . Instructions are provided on wall but they didn't help much! Even with all lights on the room was not great for reading a book etc. dull.

I found the member of staff at the entrance of the restaurant at breakfast not very helpful. We walked in and he just looked at us to which I said do you need our room number. He answered yes. Marked us off then turned around and started to walk. I presumed we had to follow. Didn’t ask if we had stayed before. Didn’t know if tea/coffee was brought to table or not then seen a machine. Just very unfriendly approach

The only thing I didn’t like (maybe I’m being picky here) but the pillows were abit soft. But other than that the stay was great! Was comfortable and cosy!

Room service reduced to 1 in 3 days. That's OK but bins should still be emptied daily and milk, coffee etc. replenished daily.
