Beautiful sized room comfy bed with a large ensuite walk in shower, plus the little extras such as the fridge (made no noise) the caddies of tea, coffee, fresh milk and hot chocolate plus the homemade treat in the sweetie Tin. The Breakfast and evening meals are cooked fresh from locally sourced produce and tasted lovely and very good value for money. The friendly team made it a home from home atmosphere A good base to stay, for the Botanical Gardens of Wales only 7 min drive away. Paxton tower, Carmarthen and the local country walks to explore.

The Location is perfect for us. The room is bright, simply furnished, modern and very clean and has everything you need. Nell is very friendly and a great host.

We liked everything about The Emlyn Arms, the welcome on arrival, the fantastic breakfast, the lovely relaxed atmosphere and the excellent evening meals. Mel, the hostess was very welcoming and all the staff were very friendly.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay,a little bit out of the way but the place and the great host made it lovely. Breakfast was huge and really tasty and the host/landlady cooked and did everything else,amazing. We would stay again.

Only one suggestion. Slightly stronger LED bulbs in the bedside lamps would be great for those of us who like reading in bed.

Five stars for the breakfasts, and the dinners were very good as well. Bedroom was beautifully furnished, clean, quiet and very comfortable. Congenial atmosphere in the bar. Very friendly staff. Good location for everything we had planned to visit.

it was easy to find, the rooms were exactly what we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing, plenty of everything and we’ll cooked. I thoroughly recommend it as a place to stay.

To access our room the stairs felt a little narrower and steeper than usual. Cockerel was an early riser! However these didn't and hasn't put us off returning again in the future.

Location was very suitable for the next leg of our holiday. Was able to park on site. Our room was exceptional; clean, well decorated, spacious and after our 4 hour drive, comfortable. Had we arrived earlier we would have definitely eaten in the Pub Lounge or probably outside in the gardens as it was so warm that night. Breakfast catered for all types, but the fried breakfast was cooked perfectly and really started our day off right! Everyone was so courteous.
