No downsides worth mentioning

The room was ok for the money, but then you're in Leicester Square, so it's going to be expensive. Great location, couldn't get more central. It was remarkably soundproofed and the staff were really helpful and friendly. We had a late room clean and left bags at reception on the day of checkout for a few hours - was no trouble at all.

I'd prefer it if there was a bar in the hotel but the location means there's plentiful and varied options very close by so it's a minor point.

Location is excellent for the West End theatres which was the main purpose of my visit. Despite the busy location the room was quiet. Decent value for such a central location.

Was very basic and simple- no lobby area, no room design, no bathtub or coffee machine in the room.

Location location location! Comfortable bed and nice breakfast. A good and functional choice if you are looking just for a place to rest your head after a long day of exploring London.

You had to pay for umbrellas when it was raining. Never seen a 4 star hotel charging guests for umbrella usage

See above for possible attempted theft. Only problem was location could be extremely noisy at times.

Room was very good and staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel charged my credit card when I checked in, then tried to add a duplicate charge when I checked out. I noticed the bogus charge when I got home. Luckily, the hotel tried to put the charge on a card I had reported lost/stolen so it was denied by the bank.

There was only 1 lift working, and sometimes, I had to wait for the lift to go down and come back up due to it being full. The pillows were too soft.

The location was fantastic, everything you needed was close by. The bed was very comfy.

Nothing stands out as a downside. A few things though... Quite a small lobby area, if one is important for you. Most of the USB outlets in the room were mot functioning. There was quite some mold in one of the corners of the bathroom.

Amazing location for tourism in London! A few little perks made it really nice stay as well. The free mini-bar was a nice compliment. Appreciate the 'no housekeeping' option for every second day, if you choose to, which is rewarded with a voucher for the Costa coffee just next to the lobby. The fresh lemon water in the lobby was a nice touch as well. Staff in the hotel were kind and smiley.

There is an odd smell on/ off from the bathrooms , nothing to do with the cleaning, I suppose old pipes as this is an old building. Reported to the reception desk .

Great place to stay for few days. Large rooms, very clean and very little worn furniture. I was impressed how clean the carpet was, in both rooms we've booked. Good shower . The staff is so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them . We didn't go for breakfast as there are so many options around the hotel, including Costa next door . We would happily stay here again.

Great place, highly recommend especially if you are in London to see musicals. Nice personel, noce Roomster, great location. I would definiately come back here.

More frequent fill up of toiletries (no shower gel left on last day). Check-out to be extended until 12:00pm
