We would most definitely have eaten in the restaurant but unfortunately it was closed on the nights we were there

I really appreciated the focus on supporting local enterprise and the keenness to avoid waste. We had continental breakfast with some lovely added touches of a small dish containing a few fresh strawberries, dates and pecan nuts. Our hostess, Sandra, was an absolute gem, nothing was too much trouble and she most definitely went more than the extra mile, a delightful lady.

Having to leave

Arrived to be told that my room was upgraded, the room was clean. Sandra the landlady was a pleasure to meet, with very friendly staff, the location was great, just where I wanted to be, two minutes from the train station. I didn't hear any noise overnight, it was close to where my daughter was staying so perfect.

Everything was great.

The host is the loveliest person who goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. As it was Chinese New Year I got a kind message and a plate full of tasty gifts in my room.

This is a rare gem of a find for a solo traveller, a single room with a single bed at a single person rate in a hospitality industry that favours couples. Housed in a charming building and hosted by a delightful lady, I have no hesitation in recommending this place for accommodation in this area.

I loved everything. The restaurant staff very nice and professional.

Sandra was incredible. Was very welcoming and incredible host. Really is an amazing lady. As a lone female I was made feel at ease and safe. The food is excellent I highly recommend eating here. My room was very nice and cosy and warm. Very clean room and bathroom. Will definitely be returning. Station and high street nearby with plenty of shops.

Initially the noise from the traffic because we opened all the windows, but slept well.

Continental breakfast outstanding. The choices were overwhelming and beautifully plated. Warm toast, piping hot tea.

This was the best choice for Bangor. Great value all round. The service was friendly and helpful throughout. The room size and amenities were excellent for a very good price. The location was perfect for the station and for visiting the town. I also tried the restaurant for a meal which was very good.

Our room was next to the main road and we could hear the traffic and noise from outside. As we were there for only for a short time, this did not hugely bother us.

A warm welcome from Sandra the host and Vic. Both went extra miles in making sure our stay was comfortable.The food and breakfast were excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. As we were taking our daughter to uni for her first year, the location to the university was excellent.
