Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There was nothing I didn't like.
I enjoyed the location and proximity to the Galgorm Hotel and Spa. Janice is incredible, she really enjoys receiving folks at her B&B, she made our stay very comfortable and accommodating, she was kind. The breakfast was fabulous, super fresh and there was tea and coffee available at all times. The room was big, comfortable and the shower had everything we need. I was able to use Janice's iron for the wedding clothes I brought. I will stay here in a heart beat and I recommend it 100%

Janice was an amazingly helpful and accommodating host, helping us organise all aspects of our itinerary. We enjoyed beautiful breakfasts in lovely countryside surroundings, after having restful nights in a wonderfully spacious and comfortable room. Was the perfect place to stay for a wedding in the nearby Tullyglass hotel. All topped off by a welcoming fire in the common room and a charming little doggie friend to greet us.

We stayed at Glenburn as we were attending a Wedding in Galgorm Resort. Accommodation was wonderful, location was a 2 minute drive from the resort, Janice the host was so friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommended Glenburn if you are attending a wedding in Galgorm. The BnB is so close to the resort that the hotel concierge provides complimentary lifts home.

Everything was just perfect for our short stay. The rooms were lovely, wonderful big comfy beds with everything else you would need. Great hot shower as well. Breakfast was great, loads of choice and such a relaxed environment. Pancakes were so good! Janice’s attention to detail is excellent. A wonderful stay and we will definitely be back. Thank you

Our room was spacious and super clean and private. The facilities were excellent the breakfasts were delicious. Plenty of room for parking. Janice made sure we knew where we were going each day and gave us very helpful advice. Her local knowledge is excellent.

The property was lovely, very comfortable and clean. The hostess Janice was a joy to be with she was more than helpful, she loaned us a card to get us 10% off at the golf club and she drove us there. She was so friendly and helpful and definitely will return. Also close to the galgorm hotel

There is nothing to dislike. Highly recommended
From the moment I arrived to the moment I left Janice provided excellent service and advice about local amenities. As a backpacker Janice drove me into town and when I was leaving she took me to the station. I have travelled weekly with my job and stayed in a lot of hotels over 20 years, but never was I made more welcome than at the Glenburn. Can't recommend it enough I will definitely be back

Beautiful place and great location. Janice is soo friendly and her breakfast is amazing. I parked my car at the wedding venue overnight, Janice very kindly offered to drive me over to collect it the next morning, thank you. It was superb!
