Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We didn't have an option to book a room with two doubles - which according to the website pictures was an option? We ended up with 2 rooms which was probably an unnecessary extra cost given that the hotel and lodges were practically empty when we arrived.

If you didn't book eat play stay option you had to go back into the park at night for meals (in our case, horrendous weather)

I didn’t like the option of brekky was a sausage barm or a bacon barm And any other food through the day and night you had to go to the theme park to get scran I just ordered with just eat which was quicker
The bed was comfy,and the water was hot,tele and kettle worked

The shower head was not the best. It needed cleaning or replacing only had the jet function that was usable . The full English breakfast was very poor, the food was cold, and hash brown was still frozen in the middle. It was unedabl.
My son had a great time at the theme park.

Sound-proofing between rooms is poor. Kept awake by snoring guest in next room 😴 .
Very friendly staff at reception. Easy check-in and check-out. Large room, comfortable bed, Excellent Wi-Fi and a desk to work from.

The room we stayed in didn't smell nice, smelled musty/not clean. We bought an air freshener. We didn't like the little diner across the car park. First impression was quite dreary, not comfortable and low quality food, so we went to a local pub.

It was a bit cold in the room, and the radiator was blocked by kind of a decoration

Everything was perfect except for a group of children playing knock a door run and messing in the corridors between 1am and 3am. Spoke to night staff and staff in the morning gave us a complimentary breafast

The internet was a bit mixed, the first day it didn't work at all. But the other 2 days it seemed to be ok. Little things in the room were broken. The curtain rail, tv remote control, pull out bed wheels all needed attention, but nothing major. The resort could do with a more upmarket cafe/restaurant. We didn't eat any of the food on site because it all looked pretty unhealthy and not very attractive.
I booked the Executive Suite because it was two adults (mother and daughter) and one child sharing the room. That gave us plenty of space for sleeping and moving around. The balcony was great, even in February. The room was comfortable and clean which was all we needed. The best thing was that there was a fridge in the room which I was not expecting but that made life a whole lot easier. The staff were all very nice and friendly. Great for parking and for accessing the Gullivers World Theme Park, which is why we were there of course!

No bath as advertised in the family suite. Evening entertainment poor. Breakfast expensive and croissants were heated by microwave! So we’re tough and chewy!

The tv’s in the bunk bed room didn’t work, I feel like that should be checked during the clean.
Very easy to find, the outside of the hotel was lovely and clean, the staff were warm and welcoming, the pirate themed room was very large and my son loved the bunk beds.
