We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomHotel was tired in decor but clean and still retains it's grandness. Could improve choices with cake alongside the cream teas on the menu now in the afternoon.
The restaurant had a good view out to the gardens and seafront and we enjoyed the breakfast and evening meals, the room with a sea view and balcony was good and with wonderful views out to sea, the staff were very attentative and professional and room service was thorough. We enjoyed our stay.

United KingdomThe shower didn't work. The water didn't get hot enough, and it had very little power. I experienced a shuddering vibration on the floor, which affected also the bed. Felt like the vibration of a freight train passing by!! This happened mainly from 6 - 9 pm. I reported both concerns.
The room and bed were very large and comfortable. Good tea and coffee facilities. Great to have a fridge. Lovely large bathroom, and the bath worked well. The breakfast had everything I expected, in a lovely light room, with views. The location was good. I could walk into Bournemouth, or catch the bus from opposite the hotel.

United KingdomWe had a room overlooking the road and it was a bit noisy!! A number of people talking loudly in the street although.... I know you can do nothing about this!!
It was so nice to be so near the coast and the towen centre. Staff were very helpful. Nice to have breakfast over looking the sea.

I think we may have been upgraded as it was my fiancés birthday the room was very spacious and we had nice little balcony with an amazing view of the sea and the pool and the pier

United KingdomThe room itself was tatty and very dated, as were the furnishings. Free wifi was promised but it just didn’t work at all. Despite the large room, the bathroom was small, but it was ample. The shower however, was appalling, no power or flow whatsoever. Not the sort of provision you’d expect for this amount of money, a Travel Lodge/Premier inn would be better! Walls and ceilings were damaged, no power sockets near the bed, and ‘stuff’ under the bed that clearly the cleaners had missed, yuck! Unfortunately by the time we got to the shower being no more than a dribble we were too late to get dressed, go back to reception and ask to be moved. When I complained the next morning on check out, all we got was a ‘sorry’. I don’t think I’ll stay here again for that price.
Staff were friendly and efficient, and the room was large with a fabulous sea view (laid extra for that!)

United KingdomI booked a superior room but it was not what I class as a superior room. Paint peeling off the walls, tiny balcony, shower in bath not a walk in shower, run out of toilet roll and had to go down to reception and they had run out, was told to go to the powder room and get some tissue. Ended up changing rooms as needed a walk in shower but the balcony was deep in water which could have been cleared with a broom!

United KingdomThe Hotel charged us for our stay as well as us using a booking website. They have still not reimbursed us with the money and they don’t return my calls as it’s been mainly answerphone. It’s a shame because it was an ok stay but needs some help.
Some staff tried to make up for the lack of value. They really did try. They showed customer service. The view was lovely nice location. Watched sun rise and a full moon on the sea.

United KingdomNo bottled water in the room. The hotel was REALLY hot. The fruit juices on the Tuesday morning and all been watered down and were really grim. This wasn't the case when we stayed Thursday night. I was staying with two children and wanted room service. I tried calling reception for 20 minutes but couldn't get through. When I went to reception at 10:10 was told that room service was finished. I explained about the phone and was told I was too late. Went to bed hungry after a packet of. It's and glass of wine for my dinner!
The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was delicious on the Friday morning. I booked two nights, one on Thursday night and one on Monday night.

United KingdomSuite room was big, very spacious but loads of snags required throughout.Paint coming off a lot of areas. Too many stains on carpet. Front door very stiff. Table held toger by cardbord and maybe 2 screws instead off the required amount. Bed not made up during our 4 day stay - even though cleaner made our room up. and towels/tea making changed. Mentioned to front desk on 2nd day receptionist (chinese lady ignored question.). The other foreign lady really tried to help and was very helpful. Reason they said bed maybe not made up was due to busyness. After a day out and coming back to beds made is a normal expectation and part of what you pay for when you stay in a hotel of this standard.
Hotel location awesome had a suite with sea view and balcony. Amazing view. Breakfast nice. Lots of choice. Staff - especially the night staff! Awesome!
