The property was beautifully modernised and appointed and very comfortable. It was a perfect centre for touring the borders and the owner couldn’t have been more helpful, leaving fresh milk, orange juice, biscuits and homemade jam which were very welcome.

Nice little cottage for a couple or small family as described. Great location about 5min driving from A7. Absolutely amazing views if you like active leisure. Everything you need in the cottage including fresh milk in the fridge, fireplace with logs, nice smell clean bedding and towels. Ishbel is very kind and helpful. Also kept all Christmas decorations, ensuring that we celebrated New Year's Eve in front of the Christmas tree and warm fireplace in an amazingly cosy atmosphere. We are looking forward to visiting again.

Leaving. On a personal note -The settee is more suited to people with longer legs!

Juniper cottage is in a lovely location. Very peaceful and quiet. Easy parking. It is one of our favourite places. The cottage is cosy, clean and comfortable. The host has made sure that the cottage has everything you need and more. There is lots of local information. We were very grateful for the milk and orange juice . Thank you

Our only issue with the property was the soft cushions on the settee as we have to watch our backs. Other than that having to leave!

Juniper cottage is in a lovely location with an amazing view of the hills from the bedroom. The cottage is well equipped and everything is of a high standard. It is comfortable and cosy. Very quiet little village on the route to lots of interesting destinations and close to Galasheils with a very good range of shops, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. Plus everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. The hostess was very thoughtful and left milk, juice ,tea, coffee etc which was very welcome.
