Excellent location for town, food very good with beer very reasonable in price. Old buiding so stairs narrow and steep. Staff were great with easy parking at rear of property. Overall fantastic

Security light outside our window kept going off and on and someone's bathroom fan was on and off all night.

Breakfast was excellent and the staff very helpful and friendly. This was our third visit and we will be back next year

It was two flights of stairs to the room at the top.

The room was spacious and lovely with a comfortable bed and large bath. We arrived just in time for Sunday lunch which was excellent. We enjoyed having a drink, watching golf and chatting with the locals. We were away for a week, staying in different b& b’s each night and this was my favourite. Good breakfast and lovely staff too.

Bathrooms need refurb. Understand the property is very old so modernising bathroom might be tricky but shower definitely needs some TLC.

Rooms were a little noisy, but as we'd had a few drinks, it didn't break our sleep.

Very quirky bar and restaurant area, a lovely outdoor area with a wonderful Latin American feel. Large comfy clean rooms with a light and bright feel. Great addional facilities, fan, heater, fresh bottled water, shampoo, and body wash. Breakfast was really good, continental and full English. Staff were friendly. Very close to the centre with lovely bars, coffee shops and restaurants and close to the train station and castle.

Good choice of breakfast items, including juice, cereals, yoghurt, toast and cooked breakfast. The hotel location was ideal for easy access to the town and castle.

Unfortunately, the shower was very weak, and the water flow was a bit intermittent. The road outside is quite busy, so you will hear some vehicle noise if it's warm and you have the windows open.

The staff were all amazing. They couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. It was a very good value. The room was exceptionally clean and well presented. We were given a good choice of breakfast options, and the bar menu looked excellent. It is a few minutes' walk to the market square. As it is an old building, there are quite steep steps up to the rooms and no air conditioning. The hotel provided fans for the rooms.

Prices gone up a little but everything has ,even though couldn't park on the pub car park ,parked on west rock carpark no hassle got reimbursement by the pub .

If I’m being picky, the room was a little warm so I’d have liked the window open a bit more. I really wanted to try the restaurant but it was a Monday so it was closed. The dining space looked very welcoming!

I could park for free. The room felt nice and private. It was quiet. It had an outside area to sit and have a drink. The fact it had a good restaurant on site with small plates on the menu for a solo diner.

Better pillows, I have a neck issue and so I struggle with the flatter type pillow. That is the only thing that I would recommend. Nothing major I know….

We love period places and this was no exception. The food was delicious and the staff were so welcoming. We love the influence of the Spanish/Latino vibe as we’re regulars of visiting Spain ourselves. It was a 5 minute walk to the castle which helps with our two young children.
