When we first arrived from the outside the hotel appearance is poor and is need of painting. However once we entered the hotel we were pleasantly surprised. Although some areas corridors leading to the rooms appear outdated once entering into our bedroom we were again pleasantly surprised.

Staff were attentive and nothing was too much for them. We came with our dog and as he was not allowed in the restaurant staff kindly set up a lovely table in the bar area where we ate our breakfast and evening meal. Customer service from all staff was excellent. Breakfast is excellent and offers a good selection. We decided to eat at the hotel in the evenings whereby there was 3 or 4 options to choose from. The sea bass we had on our last night was delicious and the 3 course evening meal is excellent value for £19.95. Our superior double room was very clean and comfortable and our room was cleaned daily.

The bedside lighting in the room was inadequate - not sufficient light to read by. Water flow in the shower was rather feeble.

Hotel is in a good location and was good value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful. The dining room is pleasant and the cooked breakfast was very good.

I stayed for one night and everything was alright, no problems whatsoever.

Friendly staff, good location, clean room with a nice view. They let me park my motorbike at the back out of view for extra security which was nice. Beer at the bar was reasonably priced. Good cooked breakfast.

We wanted a front facing room without stairs so I contacted the hotel and they were able to change it for us. The room we were given was standard room instead of a superior one, unfortunately it was sadly in need of updating. Paintwork chipped and carpet soiled.

Close to seafront, pier and town centre. Good transport links. Good choice of dinner and breakfast.

It was very hot while we were there so we had to have the bedroom windows open but the hotel is just off the main road and it gets a bit noisy with traffic and people on a night out when trying to sleep.

We were in Weston Super Mare celebrating my partners birthday. The room was large and clean. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was delicious. The beach is across one road as you leave the hotel and I could see the ocean from our window which was lovely. We did a day trip to Wells from there which was great. There is limited parking but there was always a space available. It's very close to restaurants and the pier. We had a lovely weekend!

It certainly needs updating. The bathroom window needs replacing and the outside appearance lets it down

The staff were exceptional. They were friendly and very helpful. Paris was wonderful on reception and did an excellent job. Nicole was great too. The hotel is spotlessly clean and as it’s an old building that can’t be easy. The breakfast was good
