Everything was perfect.

Our stay was wonderful - warm & cosy. Elaine and Bruce have thought of absolutely everything. They left us freshly baked bread and the little wood burner was on. The hut itself is of very high quality and the interior is beautiful. it had everything we needed. The bed and bedding was wonderfully comfortable and we slept brilliantly.

To be honest we had no complaints.

Everything for a light breakfast was provided. The hut is superbly well thought out with all the facilities required for an extremely peaceful and relaxing stay. Location was perfect for our visit to the nearby Goodwood Revival event.

The hut is delightful, solidly constructed and beautifully finished. Set at the end of the owners' well kept garden with private outdoor seating. Well equipped with quality crockery and utensils. Homemade bread was delicious. Also plenty of butter, jams, yogurt, fresh fruit and cereals etc for breakfast. A very quiet and peaceful place to relax. Elaine and Bruce are great hosts and super friendly and helpful.

Needed to stay longer

The Hut had everything you needed and the setting was so peaceful and tranquil, the hosts Elaine and Bruce were charming and so helpful. The location was perfect, near to so much, in terms of places to eat and visit, will definitely return.

Elaine and Bruce have evidently thought of everything you could possibly need. The hut is well maintained, clean and cosy. The shower is lovely and warm and the bed very comfortable. The fire pit and BBQ are great and the very well designed garden gives you a calm, tranquil little oasis. The best thing, however, is the approach Elaine and Bruce have towards guests. We were made to feel incredibly welcome - it was a real joy to chat about Bruce's vegetable garden and they were very generous to give us a couple courgettes, broccolo and beans to go on the BBQ. A truly lovely stay in a very nice part of the world!

Location was great, remote and quiet. Home cooked bread was waiting for us when we arrived what a great touch. Everything was well described how to use. Host was brilliant so helpful and friendly! Will definitely be back, highly recommend!

Nothing to dislike, perfect for our get away.

Not really a lowlight, just in general the more spacious the space the better, but I guess the size and the compact design is part of the charm of the chalet :D

The hosts are super kind and friendly, Elaine met and showed us everything about the chalet upon our arrival. The chalet is tuck away in the backyard of the cottage, it may seem small but it is well-organised and comfy, also very connected to the big wide world outside (either physically or digitally as there is also a fast speed wifi in the hut ;D) so you won't feel being crammed in a little house. The bed is very comfortable, I missed the morning of waking up in the rainy day listening to the raindrop and the flow of the fresh air. Recommended for people who want to getaway from the busy city life.

Lovely Shepherd cottage ideally located for visiting Chichester and the local Beaches. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Although located at the bottom of their garden it was isolated and quiet. A lovely breakfast was supplied including delicious home made bread. Sitting out in the late afternoon sun was very pleasant.
