Very unexpectedly we received a complimentary room upgrade to a gorgeous room with giant bathroom. Breakfast was divine and all the staff just so lovely. Will try and come back again.

The hotel has lots of character and is beautifully decorated. There is a beautiful restaurant and bar at the hotel that are so unique! The food at the restaurant was outstanding and we wouldn’t have changed a thing!

Lovely atmosphere. Food delicious. Staff really friendly. Highly recommend. It’s our favourite place to get away to. Breakfast was in the restaurant, so mildly disappointed not to have breakfast in the garden this time. Hopefully next time.

This is a fabulous place to stay. We had room 8 which felt like a little flat. Private entrance and seating and sheltered Guy serving breakfast is so nice, chatty polite and attentive. Dinner was lovely, and the cocktails in the cellar bar were great. The bed and pillows were super super comfy

An excellent place to stay which was stunning inside and out. Just a beautiful well presented place to stay that was reasonably priced and couldn't have been better. Easy access to everything we needed and the restaurant and bar on site whilst a little expensive were outstanding. Staff were all fantastic the communication was amazing and they were all so friendly, I can't recommend this place enough

Everything, the location of the hotel, is amazing, especially if, as a visitor, you are seeking peacefulness and relaxation. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, and we had dinner on our first night, which was equally delicious.

Mirror in bathroom to far away to apply makeup. If bedroom wardrobe mirror was used, nowhere to put anything on.

Nothing to dislike at all really. A very minor thing - the restaurant is slightly less characterful - and the radio music at breakfast felt a bit out of keeping with the tranquil nature of this place!

Room 5 top floor, sloping ceiling over toilet so if your over 5’7 could be very awkward! Also bright temporary strip light in bathroom needs to be removed and other lighting fixed which they said had only been there a couple of days, waiting for electrician to fix.

Nothing really. Nice bar area to sit in outside. The eating booths in the outside restaurant were unusual to say the least but part of the charm and character of the place.

Room was large, lovely and warm. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was excellent. I can recommend the breakfast. There was a lot to choose from beyond the typical "fry up". I'll be back. PS I left my iPad mini, they found it and it was returned. Brilliant
