Electrics we're faulty in our room. Shower wasn't very powerful. 2nd room was dusty. Shower was better in this room. Hot tub in spa area not very hot, tiles fallen off, very run down. Water was low.

Sauna wasn't working. Having to book the gym and the process was quite long. It would also be nice if some of the treatment spots were reserved for guests rather than having to book them separately.

Jacuzzi, breakfast, bedrooms were nice and modern.

The breakfast was pricey with no option of a continental. £13:00 is dear if you just want a piece of toast or a croissant with a coffee for breakfast. you have no alternative, as there nowhere nearby. ( I think the hotel knows this)

The Room was ok, but the staff were fantastic and couldn't have done more for us, especially Tina who gave us really good with her advice about trips in the surrounding area.

Hard to find the location after dark unless you know where is the exact entrance, absolutely no illumination of any kind at the entrance gates . Is 100% recommended to have a car or rent one , taxi service can be unreliable, somewhat understandable giving the semi-remote location.

The heating and also the bed, were 2 single beds put together, wasn't ideal. I would have preferred a double bed.

The heating set up within the room was a letdown. I contacted reception, during the first night, to complain about the low heating felt throughout the room. The hotel sent a staff member to the room. But the heating wasn't warm enough overall.

The bed was suppose to be double. It two singles with hard join in middle not very romantic at all. Lots of water sounds all night.

Two flights of stairs to get to our room. Room overheated. Found a piece of biscuit under the bedside table. All very dated, especially bathroom. Tiny shower cubicle with non-adjustable head. Huge bath. Both taps in basin difficult to turn on. Warm water from the cold tap, scalding water from the hot tap. Mould stained grouting.

Regency period property set in attractive golf course. Very comfortable bed, nice linen.

Disappointing dinner, small and lacked taste so not value for money. Communal rooms such as library etc were not accessible the whole time as booked for what appeared to be work functions so no where other than your room to sit

The bar and restaurant were soulless. We were going to meet family for a drink in the bar but told them not to come as it was so bare, cold and utterly bleak, more of a corridor than a bar.

The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful too.

A bit run down in places. Could do with a refurb in the dining area and reception area. The pool was good but broken tiling in jacuzzi could be a H&S issue? I reported this. No free bottle water in our room. Only 1 room card for a couple?

Location was good and free use of the Spa. Breakfast was excellent, lots of variety. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good value, for what we had.
