Bathroom in a closet was way too small and inconvenient to enter. The emergency light in the room was way too bright.

The location is nice and the price is good.

The size of the room was very small. You could barely fit in 2 pieces of luggage in there and still be able to walk around on the floor. I know it was going to be small but the reality is there was barely any walking space around the single size bed. The only other issue was the temperature in the room was very hot and there was no way that I could find to change it anywhere.

The location was perfect. Super convenient directly across from the tram and the M&S food. Lovely old building well maintained and safe. I don't know if I should add this in the like or didn't like but there was a weird creepy half door up at the ceiling that was a little questionable but no ghosts came out so I guess it was ok in the end ; ) The bed was very comfortable.

the room in the basement was very small, and the bed was on a loft, had to climb and descend from this ladder with large distance between the steps. Very unpractical, and not comfortable at all. The bathroom was tiny, with a tiny sink. The shower was the size of a closet. Staff not particularly pleasant at all. Lost wifi connection one time, and when informed staff, they said that they had no problem. Rather careless and unwilling to assist.

    Nothing to report

Clean, quiet, well presented and in a very reasonable location. I felt very comfortable during my stay. This was a largely unstaffed hotel, relying on smart phone key access to building/rooms, but this did not in any way diminish my stay. I would very happily stay here again or recommend to friends.

Room was very small, could not really fit my suitcase. Room 27, the shower head is leaking so needs to be changed and mould in shower. The automatic doors are hard to understand, took about 5mins each time to open the door

Was right off the Main Street, so easy to find but about a 1-1.5km walk from centre of Edinburgh.

Due to the fact that my girlfriend is short, the mirror in the bathroom is hung a bit too high, so a user under 160 cm will have a problem. The regulation of the shower faucet is the opposite, the adjustment on the left is water and on the right is water temperature. We do not know whether this is due to the generally accepted English system or the simple negligence of the plumber. The seat in the toilet is of the old type, not slow-falling so you have to hold it to avoid making noise.

We had room number 2. Very large, with a comfortable wide double bed, a small sofa, a table and a wardrobe with drawers for clothes, and a nice bathroom with a shower. Very close to the main attractions of the city. Contrary to some comments, we had peace and quiet during these few nights even though the hotel is located on a quite busy street, one of the main ones in Edinburgh. True, we could hear the tram in the distance, but it wasn't bothersome at all. In the living room, which is open to everyone, you can make good coffee or tea. A lot of people complain about the door opening system, but it is not complicated at all. Before leaving, it was enough to watch a YouTube tutorial on how to open such a lock and that was it. A simple and very practical system, in my opinion safer and less reliable than a system based on magnetic cards that can be easily lost. The hotel is run remotely and contact with the staff is mainly through the application because there is no physical staff there. Therefore, you need to have a permanent internet connection, as they mention in the e-mail before arriving at the place. The obvious lack of breakfast and we don't know what the parking situation is like, we arrived by plane. Overall, we highly recommend it.

My room was not worth the money. It was extremely tiny, with no desk or table. It was a single bed, which was okay. The light in the room was quite dimmed. There is no way to open the windows, so ventilation is poor. There is no staff at this hotel, so basically nobody comes to change towels or take away the trash. The room was clean enough, same for the bathroom, though the bathroom was quite small. The shower worked fine, but the tap was quite strange, in that I had to use the shower to fill my kettle because the kettle didn't fit under the tap. The key system is extremely strange. Had I known about it, I wouldn't have booked this place. You need to tap a link on your phone every time you want to open the front door or the room door. To do this, you need Internet connection. This is extremely poor for solo travellers because if you lock your phone in the room, or you don't have Internet, or your phone dies, you can't get in. It's a very bad system in my opinion. The room door was meant to be opened with a code, but the code didn't work on my room. In a city with so many options, I wouldn't recommend it.

Good location near public transport. Has a sink in the common area, which is nice. Coffee machine in the common area is good.

No staff available when I arrived and the bedroom was very dark as it was in the basement. It was exceptionally expensive for what you got and the time of year (out of fringe season).

The bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet. The location was fantastic.

This wasn't a problem for me, but there were no staff around at all (although there was a telephone number). The 'Loft room' turned out to be a loft bed up a ladder. On checking, the details dud say this, but I'd not noticed it. Again, it wasn't a problem, but would have been for anyone with reduced mobility.

Located right next to Haymarket Station, the accommodation was in an excellent location, but was also very quiet. There was a decent coffee making machine in the shared lounge, along with a well-stocked fruit bowl. Despite looking daunting, opening the doors using the online key system was easy. While small, the bathroom was functional with a decent shower.

Found a few long strands of hair in my room which weren't mine! Also, when I arrived at the accomodation, I had alot of trouble getting my suitcase down the stairs. When I called the helpline they said they would call a staff member for assistance but never called back so had to chance it and take my case down the stairs when I have a back problem. I would have expected a callback to update me regardless

Nice room, good location, comfortable bed, plenty of storage.
