The ease of parking right by the door, not having to walk several corridors, wait for lifts or upstairs to get to room. I have a health condition so was relieved that walking far was not an issue. Very clean accommodation and very relaxing being in the countryside.

The weather!

Everything! Perfect for our long weekend in the area. Warm and comfortable. Excellent host who was very helpful in ensuring that we had everything we needed plus milk in the fridge and Easter biscuits 😋 Would definitely stay again.

Becky warned me in advance of the dire state of the roads leading to the property and ensured I was directed to the property in the best way possible. Staffordshire Council need to fix the potholes in the road, so do be careful when approaching the property, just take it slow.

This self-catered cottage was in a lovely location on a farm. It was really nice waking to the sound of birds, particularly the blue tits at the feeder, and the lambs. The cottage was cosy and perfect as a location for exploring Staffordshire and neighbouring Derbyshire. It is very close to Cannock Chase and a good choice for walking and other outdoor activities. Becky the host was friendly and ensured I had everything I needed.

Maybe a slightly larger radiator for the cold winter stays as it was -6 on the day we stayed. The blankets helped though. If you take a dog they cannot go into the bedroom, we have show dogs so had to crate them and leave them in the lounge, they did whine a little as they are used to being lose or sleeping next to us. The bedroom is all carpeted which may not be good for all dog owners if your pet is used to sleeping with you. Fabulous other than that.

Easy access to the property with a ramp, snug and cosy, everything you need to cook a meal, make hot drinks, store food in the fridge. Radiator in the lounge with blankets and pillows to snuggle up with while watching TV, Lovely warm shower room and two really comfortable single beds and warm covers. Easy to take the dogs out for a walk when needed evening in our pyjamas. The lounge has a lino floor so good for dogs to keep cool. Enjoyed our stay would go back again.

Fantastic booking! Access to 3 rooms (living room, bedroom & bathroom), all done up very nicely. Extremely cosy place. Becky was extremely friendly and welcoming. Fantastic value

This is a little gem of a place. Spotlessly clean, all amenities you could want. Becky is a lovely friendly lady and so great to chat to. I had to leave suddenly and she was so understanding and told me just leave everything and go. I can't wait to return for another relaxing stay.

In our eyes, absolutely nothing! Everything was exceptional.

The accommodation was self catering, but Becky was kind enough to supply tea, coffee and biscuits to start the day off well. We could not have asked for more with the accommodation which was perfect,clean ,tidying equipped with all that we required.

We were immediately impressed at the cleanliness of the property and it's quiet location, which was near to the event we were attending. An excellent Nepalese restaurant/take away in the village which delivers.
