The location was perfect, just a short walk away from a variety of restaurants and attractions. The extra touches in the room were great. A wide range of tea, coffee and snacks available, and the host was very friendly and helpful when asked about restaurant options close by. I would highly recommend staying here for a weekend break.

There was nothing to dislike.

Excellent location with plenty of places to eat nearby. Easily reached by car from the A1. Small car park at rear of the property. Room No 3 is at the back and therefore very quiet. It's a good size, with fridge, kettle etc. The en suite bathroom is roomy and the shower excellent.

There is no sitting room or public space in the house, that space is reserved for the host family.

The host was lovely and very helpful with suggestions for the town and things to do. The room was small but perfectly set up with tea, coffee, biscuits, plenty of places to put your clothes and a small but perfectly equipped bathroom.

Nicola was an excellent host and the rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Nicola provided us with an ice bucket to keep our milk cool as there was no fridge/mini bar in the room. The supply of teas and coffees were excellent, so we could relax in our room with a drink of our choice. The guest house is only a few minutes walk from Barter books, Alnwick Castle and plenty of eateries highly recommend

Nothing at all comes to mind! No elevator though, for those with disabilities - but it wasn't a problem for me.

The room was one of the most comfortable ones I've ever been in, & everything was spotless. There're plenty of coffee & snacks restocked daily, & they've got all toiletries (even an extra glass for brushing!) covered. The location is superb - right opposite the bus station where the train arrives, & there're plenty of cafes in the area that serve good food. Nicola is a sweetheart & I've spent one of the best nights of my life there.

The room was so much bigger than we expected and it was so comfortable and clean. It was a lovely space to unwind in after a long day of wandering around the sights of Alnwick. The location is perfect as you are so close to the centre near all the bars, restaurants, cafes, shops and attractions. We had a gorgeous time and cannot thank Nicola enough for making us feel so welcome. We will definitely be back for another stay soon!

Absolutely beautiful room with very thoughtful added extras. As a couple that cannot function in the morning without a caffeine fix, the cafetiere and real ground coffee was really appreciated. Excellent value for money. Probably the best guest house we have ever stayed in. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful place! We had a beautiful room with every comfort and convenience we could have hoped for. The bed was extremely comfortable, the towels were super fluffy, non-dairy milk as well as dairy milk along with biscuits with the tea & coffee provided, hair straighteners as well as hairdryer, lovely toiletries... The attention to detail was exceptional!

Honestly as far as we both are concerned there isn't anything to say here.

Spacious and comfortable room with excellent coffee/tea selection. Great location as well, providing access to many of Alnwick's sights within walking distance. The host Nicola was very welcoming, and the room & communal areas were all spotless.

Perfectly situated for access to all amenities..especially the castle . The accommodation itself is spacious and spotless, and the host is lovely and very welcoming . We booked this last minute and couldn't have wished for better accommodation.

The water doesn’t drain straight away in shower tray but it’s a minor issue .

Location of Guest House is perfect for cafes, restaurants, shops etc. The room was spacious and bright with a very comfortable bed. Everything was spotlessly clean . Bath robes and slippers were provided for use as were complimentary toiletries. The host Nicola was very warm and friendly.
