Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomSuperb night away. Comfortable, cosy, picturesque and calm. If you're looking to disconnect, this is your place. The owners were lovely. The breakfast was excellent and the passion for what they do was clear to see.

United Kingdomdislike would be an overstatement, but the property clearly caters best for young families … I’m an old man and don’t necessarily need the same facilities
the accommodation was excellent: by no means fully featured, but a delightful byre conversion. Breakfast was a particular highlight, made to order with a smile!

United KingdomNothing.
This was the second time we have stayed and we'll definitely be back. Despite the hosts being busy resolving some cold weather related issues on site, we were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation is lovely and the log burner was alight when we arrived, so it was nice and toasty. The vegetarian breakfast was excellent and was served with apple juice from their own orchard and home made romesco sauce, which were nice touches.

United KingdomAbsolutely everything about this place was just magical, the food, the atmosphere, the staff, the location, the wood burner hot tub. I travel all over the UK and this has got to be one of the only places I've ever said I am going back, actually booking again for next month even though its a 9 hour round trip its that good!

PolandIt is not 'secluded' in a sense that it is within the main area of buildings, but we had great time there anyway.
Really nice place, part of broader eko-tourism resort. Very helpful staff, excellent surroundings for walking, nice canteen and generally very good vibe around the entire place.

This is so much more than B&B. Two bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. The upstairs balcony looked over an open lounge area, wood stove fire and dining area. Access to a fridge with fresh milk and bottled water. Really special place to stay.

United KingdomThe bed was a bit hard.
The location is very rural which is a dream when you live in a big city. There is a local pub nearby for a few cheeky pints and beautiful scenery all around. Lovely cosy fire to sit by at the end of a perfect night. The staff are very friendly and attentive. And the breakfast in the morning was absolutely superb. A1 experience and will definitely be returning. Thank you 😊

United KingdomWe loved everything about it. Only breakfast was slightly different on our second day, having less variety of bread and less food quantity than on our first day, but it was still delicious and quite a lot of food for a breakfast anyways!
We stayed at the B&B and it was just lovely. Nobody else was staying there at that moment so we basically had a house for ourselves. The breakfast was very tasty and the bed was comfortable. Everything was clean and the staff was attentive and kind. The highlight was definitely the hot tub overlooking the forest that we had for ourselves for one of the nights. They hosted a delicious burguer night that we happily enjoyed and even though we didn’t see the rest of the farm, the place looks huge and has lots of accommodation options. We loved this place and will be coming back for sure.
