Rooms were beautifully and comfortably furnished, with all amenities required for a quiet weekend away. The facilities are impeccably clean, tidy, and well maintained. It was wonderful returning to a warm room at the end of many a cold, rainy, and blustery day. Kate, the general manager, went above and beyond with ensuring we got the keys even after the reception was closed -- we were very grateful to her for that. Location is excellent, just a stone's throw from the waterfront and with excellent food options nearby.

The pillows were very flat and not comfortable but there were some extra pillows in the cupboard so we managed. On arrival to the apartment, we found a letter explaining about the electricity charge we would have to pay at the end of out stay. 😳 This was a bit worrying and confusing but in the end we didn't have to pay anything extra because we had booked through Booking.com. The spa pool was great, but the sauna was out of order and the shower fixture was loose and needed to be repaired.

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff at the reception desk were very friendly and helpful. We were very impressed with the apartment. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you needed to cook for a family. The coffee machine was warmly welcomed. The spa area was nice and clean. The provided towels to use in the spa. Free parking onsite was also a bonus!

Our room (#1) was very close to the main road, so noise can certainly be an issue. As well, the wall is quite thin between rooms #1 & 2 so privacy is a bit compromised (although the manager did say that the issue is being addressed). Room is small but you adjust as your stay goes on, although more compact furniture could solve this problem. Free wifi was speedy but was unsecure, even with a password?

Excellent location, easy 20 minute walk into Ambleside or 5 minutes to the pier at Waterhead. Big thumbs up for free laundry facilities. Super clean room and very comfy bed. Very friendly staff. We wanted a self catering hotel room and this fit the bill perfectly.

The walls must be a bit thin. We could hear the people in the next room moving about and plugging things in, as well as some other more 'personal' noises.

The apartment was perfect for 3 friends to share. Great location, short walk from Ambleside centre. The small 'pool' was a nice little bonus after a days walking, especially the jacuzzi bit. We will definitely be back.

As our room was on the roadside it was slightly when car would drive past at times although windows were closed.

Room well setup and clean. Good position to Ambleside and nearby pub and lake. Very enjoyable swimming pool especially for children.

Number 15 was situated on the ground floor and has recently been updated. Designated parking space was very useful. The property was very clean and cosy with comfortable beds. Linen and towels were provided which saved having to bring our own. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to cater for ourselves. Wifi, television with sky were very useful. The pool was very clean and a welcome facility at the end of a walk/cycle. The laundry room was very handy with free washing machines and tumble driers.

Bathroom was fine but very small! - not much room for hanging wet towels etc.

Great location close to the lake. Very clean. Extremely comfy beds. Very good value. Fridge and microwave very handy. Appreciated the milk and bottled water in the fridge, plus extras like tea-towel, washing up liquid. Nice to have outside seating too for warmer weather days.

It was tiny, but a good enough size for two to stay for the three nights we did. I'll be coming back to the lake District and staying here again.

Bed was a bit squeaky. Room can get very hot at night. Booking.com mentions you can check in up to 5pm however sign on the reception says only open till 4pm.

Room and bathroom are very nice, modern and clean. Has everything you need and is in a great location to access all of the Lake District and is a short walk to Ambleside centre. Staff very helpful and friendly.

The apartments have everything you need, very spacious and immaculately clean. They are conveniently located and have a nice small pool, great for kids.
