There was a lack of useful, well lit mirrors. As we were walking a lot and not dressing up, it didn't matter, but if you were needing hair and make-up, you might struggle. Also, lighting in bathroom very low (again, wasn't a major concern as we normally camp anyway). More advice on the tight stairs and restricted heights in the snugs would be useful, just so people are aware of their gorgeous, petite-ness. Overall though, the apartments (we stayed in two) were fabulous!

We collected the keys from the restaurant/bar, was fine but when the bar is busy (like on our bank holiday weekend), we needed to wait in a queue, not a problem, really. We were escorted to the apartment which was helpful. The snugs (apartments) were very unusual in their design, a bit tight (hence the name, snug) but absolutely fabulous, well thought out. We stayed with fully grown teenagers who found the bunk beds to be lovely and big singles. Would definitely stay again.

Bathroom very small but did the job. 2nd bedroom was wall to wall double bed. More of a nook than a bedroom but also sort of fun.

Well presented good sized self contained 2 bedroom apartment with nice outlook over park. Exceptionally good value for money. On site bar and restaurant served very pleasant meal.

The double bed wasn’t very comfy and there was a fair bit of noise from the plumbing and the road. There was also not a lot of hot water for the bath.

Everything in the room couldn’t be faulted. There’s a lovely communal area and great value for money if there is a group of you. A couple of people in our party, however, woke up with real discomfort in their backs.

We were able to check in early at no extra cost. Picked keys up from the bar on arrival.

No shower, just a bath tub placed in the bedroom. Limited hot water. Kitchen not so well equipped, and no cooker.

The bedroom was very cosy, and the internet tv was good in the bedroom. Nice bed. The staff was extremely kind and helpful.

Loved it. Wasn't expecting the layout of the room. Was a very amazing surprise to see thay there was an upstairs as a separate lounge and kitchenette and balcony. The staff were amazing. So friendly. I'd highly recommend this place to stay.

For some reason there is a window between the toilet and the bedroom which has no shade or frosted glass? It wasn't a real problem as I was staying alone, but I would very much not like to stay there with someone else!

The host at romneys was so lovely and welcoming. She showed us the stables where we were staying. She was so apologetic and empathetic when she explained that the restaurant could not squeeze us in on an early sitting as they were full. If you visit, book early!!! We would definitely return though as the little park is so ideal for little ones and we found the accommodation really comfortable.
