Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room was a little tired looking in places. Lots of light switches that didn’t work/know what they was for .
Had everything we needed for a couple of nights stay. Staff was very friendly.

We have paid for a parking bay at the property’s garage but someone sneaked in and got our space. The staff was very eager to help resolve it during the next day. But it seems they let cars in more than the bays provided so making it difficult to maneuver in such tight space.
We always stay here when we come to Leeds as it’s conveniently located next to our destination. The room is clean and well-equipped. The staffs are responsive & helpful.

The furniture/facilities were a bit tired.
The staff was super nice and always available; the free croissant offered downstairs in the morning was tasty and easy to pick up; the studio flat was spacious and comfy.

-1st night my pillows were very uncomfortable, i doubt even Mike Tyson could have softened those bad boys up. However room service replaced them whilst i was out and my 2nd night was much more comfortable. So i'll just put it down to bad luck that i had bad pillows for 1 night. -There was a strange purple stain on 1 of the surfaces. I couldn't remove it and i presume the cleaners couldn't either, no matter how hard they tried.
-Easy to walk to from Leeds train station -Just a straight line walk into the city centre, impossible to get lost. -Lots of room inside. -Room service was good, didn't even know they had been in my room until i noticed the sink was cleaner. -good sized shower. i am 6'3 and had good room. -Helpful staff, when i arrived my 1st room didn't have a microwave, it was very easy to get a different room.

Coffee machine broken, lots of noise outside the building too but it's traffic and can't be changed!

Little more clarity around parking as there is a council car park directly opposite which is of low cost
Location was excellent as it was just a short walk in to Leeds centre. We have stayed here before and would recommend as a value for money apartment if you are visiting Leeds

As above, a cosmetic upgrade would enhance the aesthetics of the place.
All great. Given the age of the property, could probably do with a bit of a makeover but for the price was excellent value.

it was all great though the dryer was not working, the staff quickly checked it and immediately brought me a clothes horse to dry my washing on

Room is heated by a radiator rather than a/c so it got a little bit stuffy
The room was a really good size, lots of space and felt comfortable. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Didn't really use the kitchen area but it was convenient and well equipped. Complimentary coffee and croissant in reception was appreciated.

Minor details really but if I had to pick things, there were no hooks for coats or to dry towels on after use. We had to put our coats in the wardrobe, which took up the few hangers there were, and we ended up hanging towels on the back of chairs to dry for use the next day. Also, a cloth to wipe down work surfaces and the dining table after use, would be better than a sponge. The microwave was a grill too but not an oven. This was a shame as we had taken oven meals to cook which we had to microwave and then fry. We will know for next time though.
We loved that we could sort our own food and live home from home during our stay. It was convenient and met out needs. We could come & go as we pleased.
