The apartment that was shown to us in pictures in advertisement was different than what we were given, but it was good. This might be an issue with booking.com not sure. The price could have been lower for the loft.

Location was fantastic. The host, Lea, is lovely and very welcoming. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely recommend this property to our friends and family. The best part was view from property and Netflix:)

Apartment a little tired could do with some updating. Needs new toilet seat.

The only issue was the walk to the harbor on the way back it was very steep and would not appeal to the elderly but fortunately there was transportation available.

The apartment was tidy and the view was excellent the host was attentive the area was beautiful and the position in Cornwall was perfect to visit local attractions and areas.

No instructions on how to check in, luckily a lady from another flat told us who to see. Awkward trying to get around the wardrobe thing in the bedroom and very noisy from downstairs. A couple of minor things would have made it more comfortable like decent sized bath towels, cushions for the very uncomfortable lounge furniture

Parking was available and within walking distance of the town.

The sofa bed was very hard to sleep on (so hubby said - i had the bed with my daughter) and it had stains on the seat. It was okay when sitting on it but not sleeping on it. The settee and chair looked lovely but not really chairs you could relax in. We also couldn't locate a light switch at the bottom of the stairs so had to use our phones to go up the stairs in the dark to turn the lights on. I also kept banging my head on the ceiling when I got out of bed 😀

The closeness it was to where we were attending a wedding, the onside parking and the view. Lea was very helpful and welcoming. It was the ideal size for 3 of us (2 adults and a child),

If you start to look closer, some of the things need to be cleaned. Oven gloves are dirty and haven’t been washed at all.

It has been not too far from the center eg. 15 min walk, in a quiet neighbour hood with a garden and parking. Kitchen fully equipped with every utensil you need. Washing machine, etc.

Quick 10 min walk to station or city centre if you like steep roads. But people with car shouldn't worry as they offer parking space.

The sloping ceiling is a bit of an issue for someone as tall as my husband but he managed and the apartment has been well laid out to accommodate this as best they can. The bathroom has a full height ceiling which is particularly useful. There was a bit of an issue with noise from the flat below. Lots of steep hills but that is the charm of St Ives. This apartment would not be suitable for someone who has difficulty with stairs or steep hills unless they can manage one flight to the apartment and intend to travel everywhere else by car.

Great view, nice apartment. We would definitely stay there again if we return to St Ives. Useful to have onsite parking in St Ives.

- Please do bear in mind that there were NO free toiletries (no shampoo or shower gel), there was only 1 loo roll, and absolutely no kitchen freebies (no tea bags/coffee, cooking oil, herbs or even foil etc.). So just a heads up that you will need to come prepared with your own basic ingredients if you plan to cook and make teas/coffees etc. - Also due to the apartment being in an attic, the roof sloping means there isn’t much head height, every room is quite small and most of it is unusable… and almost claustrophobic especially for the taller folks. - I believe the bedroom’s situated above the ground floor apartment’s bathroom because I could hear their toilet flushing/water running.

- The location was great, 10mins walk from the beach (it’s a steep slope up/down though!) - The bed was clean. Ample storage space (chest of drawers + hanging rail) - Love how many windows there were (very light, airy, views were great) - The host (Lea) was very friendly and happy to talk to us. She showed us around the whole apartment. - The whole apartment was clean when we first arrived - The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils, fridge, freezer, microwave, cups, plates etc. and came with a new sponge+washing up liquid. (see negatives below though) - The bathroom was clean and tidy. Toilet was bleached prior to arrival. Came with hand soap. - Living room was spacious with working freeview channels. - I saw some reviews saying the apartment was quite old, dated and dirty, but I thought the opposite. It was very modern and the red colour scheme works well with the apartment. The apartment would (obviously) show slight wear over time but it’s nothing worth complaining about. - Free parking

Location, was a bit of a walk down to town but there were regular bus to bring you back, room was very clean and comfy, the host who met us with the key was lovely, very friendly and very helpful

There was no milk or tea etc when we arrived,so had to go go the shop. Just would of been a nice gesture if there was tea coffee to start with, hard if you tall walking around in apartment as sloping roof and kept banging head
