Disappointed not to see the completed interior decor. Looking cheerful so far.

Location for access to the pier excellent. Informal and relaxed atmosphere combined help yourself breakfast with tasty cooked breakfast. Room spacious enough.

Still putting finishing touches together, but I think owners had only just taken over. Felt comfortable in room, but also felt it needed a bit of TLC in places. I appreciate a big hotel so a big project. I think they are probably slowly getting through the rooms in terms of revamping.

The owners were lovely and very friendly. I'd booked a room with a bath. Initially put in one with just a shower, but room was changed with no hassle. Very close to the sea. Lovely little room. Breakfast was included which was nice. A nice lounge area near the breakfast room.

Not one single thing

Clean, comfortable, simple accommodation with everything I needed plus more. The staff are so helpful and kind, nothing too much trouble and done with a smile. Outstanding value for money too. Early departure meant I missed the lovely breakfast but toast and coffee were organised at 7am for me. A gold star! Loved the dog.

Stayed for two nights. First night great sleep and no noise. Second night there was lots of noise from the room opposite which was due to staff having a late meal. Unacceptable noise at 9.30pm in my opinion, when the rule is to keep noise to aminimum.

Free parking was great. Even though the entrance into the car park is a tight squeeze. Room very clean. Staff friendly.

All the lovely family members were just wonderful, including the dog. I had asked for a room with a bathtub because I had a bit of a cold, and that was no problem. I was also able to stay a second night spontaneously. As a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe, welcome and cared for in this B&B

Nothing significant; a small desk would have been handy, but limited by space. Plenty of mains sockets, but one in another area of the room would have been convenient.

The personal greeting and family atmosphere - the proprietors take the trouble to remember your name and one gets the impression that previous guests return and are treated like old friends. The facilities met/exceeded my expectations in most respects (clean and tidy, warm, comfortable), but it was the 'touches' that stood out for me; some of the information in the guest guide has almost certainly been updated as a result of guest feedback and guests are asked about their leisure experiences so that these can be recommended to other guests. It is as though the proprietors have thought about what they would want to find if they were staying there - the wall-mounted hygiene product dispensers, the extra towel for stepping onto the floor from the shower, a choice of firm and soft pillows, to name but a few.
