Breakfast could of been better. Fry up was Luke warm when got to table. Scrambled egg was very fatty.

Wifi was available but it did not reach the room I stayed in. The balcony was lovely, but doors were locked tight which was a shame! The bathroom was lacking a hand towel and shower/bath mat.

Location was lovely, ocean view and the room was very big. Easy walking distance to town centre. Comfy bed and good shower. Great value for money with breakfast included. Parking was free overnight and relatively cheap the few hours I stayed past 8am.

Booking . Com states dog charge refunded. Not the case. Telephone number on site not connecting, after 18 busy calls. Reception informed me number has changed. Told if I called early dog charges would of been halfed.

Good value if you not charged £20 per dog and no facilities for them.

Hotel is looking tired but they are doing their best, Windows need replacing, condensation between the double glazing meant you couldn’t see out on what is a lovely sea view. Bathroom was quite small, and cold. Lots of light switches, unsure what they all did as only 2 out of the 6 switches worked. Heating was a bit fiddly. Overall, I would definitely stay here again !

Very good value for a Sea view room, cheapest in Eastbourne, kettle with tea & coffee, lift, £2 per day parking permit and plenty of spaces a bonus. Breakfast included and pretty good. No noise from outside or next room, stall very friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi excellent in room. Big Tv with freeview,

Sea view rooms next to each other, as requested. Comfortable clean rooms, ideal location close to Pier and town centre. Included buffet cooked breakfast good value for money.. All the staff friendly and helpful.

The view from the window which was a sea view wasn’t great as the windows have issues with permanent streak condensation marks between the glass panels so it never clears. If this was fixed the views would be amazing.

Very friendly reception staff. Allowed us to leave our case before check in. Very large room. We were allocated a downstairs accessible room as my wife has mobility issues. Comfortable bed, good size bathroom and walk in shower. Nice buffet breakfast, with the bread rolls being warm. Opposite the beach and on bus route to the town centre and Hastings. Pub across the road for food at night.

Road noise. A group of noisy German youngsters who insisted on doing all their loud talking and laughing in the corridors. A phone call to reception quickly alleviated the situation. Only one flat pillow provided.

Excellent situation. Clearly was very impressive in the hay day of taking UK seaside holidays. Room was adequate with a seaview, good private en suite, tea and coffee facilities. Bed was comfortable with plenty of fresh clean linen .Bar was closed when we were there. Breakfast was excellent, fresh, varied and plentiful. All staff were efficient, courteous and pleasant.

The exterior of the hotel is a bit tired and could maybe use some re-vamping.

This stay exceeded our expectations. We booked a room for one night rather last-minute to attend a gig, not expecting to be wowed due to the great value. Our room was large and clean, with a fab sea view. I was worried about the noise due to the room being on the first floor next to a busy road, but nothing disturbed us during the night. The bed was also huge and comfortable! A delicious cooked breakfast served until 11am was included, and the staff were friendly. The hotel is obviously right next to the beach, close to the pier and about a 15-20 minute walk to the centre, the train station and some interesting shops. We had dinner at Rustico Neapolitan, which was very good. I would highly recommend Shore View - thanks for a great stay!
