United KingdomShower was cold mode only and didn’t work at all. Maybe because it was 8am ? WiFi very poor staff knew about this, only worked in the restaurant not the bedrooms.

United KingdomOnly one thing that was not up to standard, we felt, was the shower as the pressure was poor and it was difficult to regulate the temperature.
Room was a decent size with a comfortable bed and everything in the room you would require. Dinner was very good with a varied menu. Breakfast was excellent, especially if you have a good apetite as portion sizes very generous.

United KingdomWe had a standard double room which was pleasant enough but we did not find the bed particularly comfortable ( and king size would have been preferable).The bathroom was small and basic, with a very small washbasin and a stone floor - this and the absence of a radiator deterred us from having a shower, as the weather was chilly! Although the location of the Six Bells suited us very well, it is a long way from anywhere.
The staff we met, the Thai wife of the son of the owner and the young woman who served us dinner, were very friendly and helpful, as well as efficient. The food was good: quality ingredients, well cooked ( we had breakfast and just one dinner). The inn is very attractive, with historic features, and the surrounding gardens very pretty. We liked the location out in the countryside in the picturesque village of Bardwell.

The rooms are a bit tired but clean. There's no Wi-Fi in the rooms and you need to bring a hairdryer if your planning on washing your hair. That said it's worth a visit just for the food, good home cooking and served quickly and nice and hot.

The rooms and Inn were spotless, the hosts were friendly and accommodating, and the quality of the food on offer was excellent. Highly Recommended.
