Room very small and bathroom a bit dated and could do with a refresh

Lovely decor. Receptionist/manager very friendly and helpful. Nice view. Breakfast very nice but limited options. Spacious room with large comfortable bed. Good shower.

The bathroom was a separate room from the bedroom which was a bit uncomfortable running into other guests on the way to the shower. The bathroom had lots of feathers and sawdust everywhere which I think was down to some pigeons near the extractor fan but was a bit unpleasant. We had paid for breakfast but they didn’t have anything vegan sadly so we were unable to eat there in the morning. It was pricey for what it was.

The room was cosy and the bed comfortable and the cafe and lounge area was nice. Dog-friendly which was a plus and the staff were lovely.

There was a problem with the shower it kept going cold very quickly. Alice did report it and it was in hand to be fixed but that was after our stay. Room was small but we did book a mini room. Perhaps this needs to be made clearer in Booking. Com. We have been shown other standard rooms and we will definitely book one of the standard rooms in future.

Alice the receptionist was amazing, very helpful and always cheerful. She made very goood coffee! The view from the room was beautiful.

The bathroom was tired and the shower holder was broken, making it a bit tricky and the bathroom to become rather like a swimming pool. Other than that, perfect.

Loved the room, the view, the location and the staff who could not have been more helpful. The bathroom was a bit tired but that was the only downside. Great internet connection and overall lovely feel about the place.

The wooden floors, although looked nice, we were kept awake and then woken up in the early hours from the room above us due to footsteps on the wooden floors.

The hotel had a great vibe. The entrance/communal area was large but cozy with sofas, cushions and low lighting making it warm and inviting. The staff were lovely, very friendly, helpful and kind. The bed was very comfy.

The shower was terrible. The water was constantly changing temperature.

The staff working at the hotel are brilliant. We got a room that didn’t meet our speciations and without any resistance they quickly found us another room.

The main issue with our room was that the water pressure kept constantly changing, the water in both the shower and the sink would cut off every 10-15 seconds or so, and changing temperature whenever it did. There are 3 other reviews from August, October, and November 2023 all mentioning this issue with our floor, but apparently nothing has been done to fix it. Our bathroom also had no shower gel, only shampoo (including for the sink). Given that we booked a "Deluxe Double Room with Sea View", one would expect more.

Our room was very clean and the staff was lovely. The ground floor with the cafe and a little store of local products is really lovely. Bed was comfortable and we had a nice view of the sea.

It’s a little bit out of the way but everything is still walkable. It wasn’t the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed but for the price I paid it was a very pleasant stay and I’d stay there again.

Lovely room and enjoyed the sea view. Bed was very comfy and the staff were really helpful / friendly.

Cleanliness. I found a dental floss and a few hairs in the tub and in the drain. It was a bit unpleasant having to clean it. There could be a small shelf above the sink for personal toiletries. Found it a bit tricky to find space for my makeup bag in front of the mirror.

I enjoyed my sea view, my room was cosy and comfortable. Had a small desk for writing and a clothing rail. The lobby area was really nice and inviting. The staff were really friendly and helpful. There was a welcome drink offered at the bar which I was thankful for. Staff allowed me to store my bike indoors so it gave me a peace of mind that my bike was in a safe place
