The owner and general manager were there on Saturday morning, both looking like they’d just been dragged from their beds. They d isn’t engage with any of the guests and at one point swore really loudly which clearly offended the American guests. They also had their two kids in the guest dining room having breakfast and that made it feel more B&B than hotel. Little (ish) things but things that def lower the tone a bit and probably isn’t what they are aiming for in building up their business.

The room was lovely, exceptionally clean. The manager (Andrew?) was lovely, very helpful and very friendly. The gardens were very pretty and it was quiet overnight.

Couldn't open outside door when we returned at midnight. Had to phone hotel and get someone out of bed to let us in.

Had room no. 2 on ground floor on road a fraction noisy but was ok as had to have window open as was a hot day and night.

Super clean, 30 min walk to town, uber £8 including tip.

We were in room 9 the bathroom could do with the grout on the tiles being replaced as it’s very dirty

I just wished the living room had had a table and a couple of chairs, especially as there was a kitchenette!! Also I did mention to reception that the TV came on automatically in the bedroom at 6 in the morning!!

It was all really lovely and clean...and great service...and also just a lovely spot. And near Stratford! We had the ;lttle apartment which was great.

The price and standard of the food. The menu that was available didn't match the menu online. We were left a menu in our room but when we went to order the evening meal, it was a different menu and the price of a small sausage and mash (when the menu said served in a Yorkshire pudding) which it wasn't. It was served in a breakfast type bowl and we were charged £12.95. The macaroni was served with Garlic Bread, but they didn't have that, again no reduction in price. The breakfast is quite pricey. £14.95 for a full English, which was quite big but not that price worthy and £7.50 for 2 pieces of toast with 2 poached eggs (that were not runny) also seemed rather a lot. The price charged is for a higher end meal, which we didn't get. Food was eatable but not as advertised. We did get a nice pot of tea between us.

Staff were very friendly when arrived and dealing with any questions. The room was clean and tidy with good accessories like clean towels and shower gel etc. The hotel was very quiet through the night, so no noise disturbances from the other rooms.

The bathroom in room 4 looked like it needed regrouting, the fan was I think coming of the wall a little. Generally, the bathroom could have done with a little TLC.

The car park was great, we loved the location, as it was quiet and yet not too far from town. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The bar/restaurant area looked beautiful, had we stayed more than one night we would have loved to eat there.

Was very warm and no cooling but that that is not uncommon in UK Breakfast wasn't so good and really didn't fill the menu description and could have had some toast

Lack of air conditioning or fan, no hairdryer in room, staff uncaring attitude. Expensive for the standard with no breakfast included. We were underwhelmed.

The room was very warm even with the window open, the weather was quite hot. Maybe they could invest in some air con units some time in the future.

This property was in a great location. We enjoyed the 25-30 minute walk into town. Parking was also included so that was great. The room was really spacious and had everything we needed. The hotel isn’t huge but we liked that. Had a lovely little breakfast/bar area. We had breakfast on the morning of departure which was good, just had to order it the night before.

When booking our stay, it included breakfast but on arrival was told we only had £5 towards breakfast and had to pay the the rest.? Outside space was not set up to sit in. Quite a way out of town

The apartment has a little kitchen which is great however, there's no table to eat at, so you end up struggling with a dinner plate on your knees. There's enough room for a small table and a couple of chairs. If not a couple of folding tv tables would be ideal. Also, needs tea towels and dishcloths.

We came here in May of this year and loved the location. The apartment is ideal for us. Because we work so hard this apartment is like a little home from home. Some where we can get to quickly and rejuvenate. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Good idea to have automatic light on and off in ensuite but maybe a bit too intensely bright if needing to use at night time. Road noise a little much in the afternoon with window open. Fine when closed.

A smiley receptionist greeted us. Pretty room overlooking garden with Geraniums in window boxes on wall. Well cooked breakfast exactly on time, (in pleasant dining room.) Privacy and quiet in bedroom. Fairly close to town but a little far to walk. Perfect for visit to the Swan Theatre
