Felt secure, private and calm yet welcoming.

The view wasn't that great, it was also hard to open the windows so it was stuffy,but everything else was great

Sound proof might need some work. We often hear other guests talking and using facilities, which is not normally a big problem but the guest next door got up at 5am every morning and woke us up during the stay. The room door also banged loudly when other doors (and front door) closed - there maybe a quick fix available.

Clean, and well equipped kitchen studio. Good shower with instant hot water. Well located for Brecon Beacon. Host Claire was very responsive and helpful, while leaving ample space for guests to get on. On road parking wasn’t an issue. The town itself wasn’t very interesting but the property made it worth it - for easy access to walks etc north.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Glenthorne and we plan to return in the future. The studio was beautifully designed, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is convenient where you have nearby shops, restaurants and Vue cinema close to you. The host responded to my queries and kindly upgraded our room to a studio at no extra charge.

Everything! It was super quiet so we got the best sleeps which is all that we were looking for!

We absolutely love this apartment! Clean and well equipped and very close to town but it was beautifully quiet so we had the best sleeps!

Great kitchenette, very comfortable bed and pillows, hot shower, just overall a nice studio with everything needed for a few days provided. The location was within walking distance to the centre and the bus station too which was convenient for food shopping and hikes. Claire was friendly and helpful when we weren’t able to get into the front door one time.

Parking was a little tricky, but I parked on an adjacent road, so not a problem.

Very clean, well furnished and homely rooms which made for a very comfortable stay. The amenities were excellent and great value for money.

This guesthouse is fantastic. Very close to the town and if you drive there is plenty of street parking. Everything about the room was lovely. Comfy beds and very clean. The room I was given had a kitchen with stove and washing machine...a nice surprise. Absolutely no complaints .

The location at top of a hill🤣. However there were regular busses up the hill & used this as well as taxis.
