The breakfast could have been served in the dining room. The toilet paper was very thin. The floor at the shower was spongy

We don't have anything that did not like at all. It's in a small village and no shop, but we drove to Penrith in less than 10 minutes.

Angela's place is one of the most relaxing places that we have been to! We are family of 5 with young children and baby and all us enjoy the bed and breasfst!

Curtains were not blackout so it was pretty bright quite early in morning and it was bit warm a small fan would have helped.

A very clean cosy and quiet room, super clean bathroom. It exceeded our expectations. It had everything we needed and lovely views from window kids really enjoyed watching sheep outside. Highly recommended for family stays.

It is difficult to find fault with our stay in Sunset house. The room was large, and very clean...... it appeared to have been just decorated, but there was no aroma of fresh paint. The room was nicely organised, with windows on two sides with opening panes to allow fresh air in..... there was a mini heatwave when we stayed in late July 2021. The en suite was perfect, and the shower powerful and temperature-controlled. The bed was comfortable and we had an excellent nights sleep. It is very quiet in Newton Reigny. The owners were very easy to talk to, and very welcoming. There was attention to social distancing measures due to COVID, and we never felt uncomfortable. In the morning, our breakfast was delivered at our requested time, and was a delight. In the evening after checking in, we went for dinner at the Clickham Inn which we highly recommend....... its a couple of miles away, and we didn't have a reservation but they squeezed us in......very reasonable price, good wholesome food, and excellent service. Overall a very enjoyable stay at Sunset House, and I have no hesitation in giving my highest recommendation.

The night that we stopped it was very hot, although we opened the windows maybe having a fan would have been a good idea?

Good size clean and comfortable room with nice view over adjacent sheep pasture. Very quiet and peaceful. Hosts were very attentive and covid-conscious, with good protective measures in place, communicating through text and breakfast taken in room (which was excellent). Safe storage provided for our cycles.

A few more hooks in the room and towel rails in the bathroom would really help. Better quality loo roll.

Really good breakfast, plenty of choice. Could maybe do with smaller portions for the milk and juice. Angela provided a little fridge for the oat milk for my daughter. I would recommend she thinks about putting a slightly larger fridge in the room, helpful to cool drinks and snack for the next day.

The room was immaculately clean, tea and coffee facilties replenished daily as were towels.

Very thin curtains so woken very early. Bright green fire escape(?) light in the room too (take an eye mask!) Noisy fridge in room (switched it off). Breakfast not included, not paying £28 for bfast for 2 so gave it a miss.

Noisy floor boards in the hall, so can hear the other guests returning to their room late at night, and getting served their breakfast in the morning.

The only thing I would say is...it was difficult to find, as it can't be seen from the road.

Lovely room, nice view of the country side, so quiet which was great for me as I'm a light sleeper. Great shower too. Breakfast was amazing! So tasty and brought to our room on a trolly, so we ate in our room on a table, also beautifuly lit. (Safety due to covid) great idea. I would definitely recommend it and would go again.
