We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Great bar and lovely spacious room with an enormous bed. Restaurant had a decent choice of dishes although service was a little slow despite it being fairly quiet. Despite that very minor niggle the staff were all delightful and very friendly . A delightful location, very quiet and plenty of places to see locally. We'd definitely stay again.

United KingdomA big problem for me was the lighting in the room. There was no central light but only small wall lamps. The worst disappointment for me was that I was unable to read in bed as the wall lamps were to each side of the bed and did not give enough light over the bed.
The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The staff were very helpful .When I requested a second chair for the bedroom, it was quickly provided. The shower was very good but the blind at the window didn’t work.

United KingdomCommunication around food. We arrived late after a very long journey only to discover the kitchen was closed and we had to go out again exhausted to find something. Allegedly someone was supposed to call us, but they hadn’t. Next morning we went down at 10.05 to be told breakfast was 8-10 and closed - even though the email we had received told us 11am. Guests can only work with what they are told and Booking.com information seems to be out of date, so would recommend calling ahead to check policies.

United KingdomWe just couldn't sleep a bit due to constant noise (squeaky, brawl) throughout the night. Though we were later told that it was due to unruly guest(s) but There seems to be no caretaker/supervisor in the night to handle such issue(s). Guest(s) are completely left on their own to deal with it. When we later reported the incident to the Front desk in the morning, didn't felt they have any sense of accountability. Poorly managed. Hot breakfast food (which is chargeable) quality isn't great at all. Better to just use free continental breakfast instead.
Bar and bartender service was amazing. Room size is appropriate and was kept very clean along with bathroom. Plenty of parking spaces around the property.
